In the last 3 years he has play a total of 81 games....... Knowing our luck i dont want him near the team if we are trading decent pieces for him. Played 25 games this year, 25 games last year and 31 games in 10-11.

Dont get me wrong I love what he brings to a team with just being a complete garbage man. Can bash for rebounds with the best of them in the league and when you grab over 5 offensive rebounds a game thats something we have been needing for years.

But with his track record i just dont think we should clear the bench for him and trade away future picks.

For the Celtics, you would have to say that the price starts at Jeff Green.

I would hopeful of a one-for-one swap since J.Green is still relatively young, can be part of their long term plans and fills a position of need for them. But they may ask for a first as well.

Of course that all goes out the window if Cleveland drafts a SF (Otto Porter?) with their lottery selection next month. Then J.Green has little to no value to them.

Read the articles on the Cavs, they are trying to pick up another star to go with Irving.  You don't do that by trading Varejao for anything we have to offer. Plus with his injury history he is a team killer right now.

3 team deal would work, send a SF player to cleveland from other team, send bass to the team who gave sf to cleland, we get varejao to celtics
