I'm rooting for Indiana and the Bulls in the East.

Indiana because Larry Bird built that roster.

Bulls because I wan't Thibs to be known as a great coach and win his own ring as a head coach.

I do hate the knicks more. Didnt have to worry about thme too juch cause they sucked so bad.

Anyway I'd be SHOCKED if they made it to the ecf.

Didn't we play some of the worst offense the nba playoffs has ever seen, like hostorically? Against a pretty mediocre defensive team. I have a hard time believing another team will be so atrocious on offense as us.

Plus even with the knicks winning in 6 they were still destroyed mentally at times and were very much a front running team

Warriors all the way. I don't care about the rest.
Jeff Green - Top 5 SF

How any Celtic fan can root for a team with wade on it is beyond me.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I hate NY and Miami equally at this point, I never had a problem with the Spurs, Thunders, Bulls and Indiana, so I'll root for any of those 4 teams

  • You say when......
no..sorrywe never root for the heat...they are the ruination of the NBA as we know it......the ref favoritism is beyond belief.....the celts CAN beat the heat..if the refs were neutral......a lot of teams can beat them....if the refs call it even , real, and fair....LeBron would be fouled out in the 1st half...wade next......travels, drop the shoulder drives, pushing off, holding.....

I think New York has a better chance of beating Miami than Indiana does. And I have no desire to see Miami go on a Chicago/LA-esque run of  multiple back to back championships.

I look at the way the bulls are falling apart right now and I'm glad that we don't have Thibs calling our rotations.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Time to stop hating LeBron... guy really does have it in him to be the next MJ if he gets enough titles, and if not, will easily be the second best player ever.

Wade sucks though.

I mean why hate the heat at this point? Yeah we could contend with them for a few years, but at this point, or next season anyway - that's all hogwash. This is the Heat's league now

If its the Heats league then why should we just start rooting for them? Isnt it the point to hate the team on top? Yankees syndrome.

LeBron will never be on Jordan's level and he has already proved that. Losing in the playoffs to weaker Eastern teams and losing to a much weaker Mavs team in the finals.

Jordans 6 - 0 finals record, MVPs, Finals MVP and imprint on the game on and off the court will never be touched by anything LeBron can do.

Yes he is an athletic freak and has the talent and is now in elite 4 MVP company. His stats and game play seem crazy good, but look at what those other guys did in their own eras.

Chamberlain - 50 points per game one season. Averaged 30+ points a game in 9 different seasons with 12 straight 20+ per game rebounding seasons.
Russell - 11 rings in 13 seasons.
Jordan - 6 and 0 in finals averaged 37 points a game one season, had eight 30+ point per game seasons
Abdul - Jabbar - 38,000 points for his career.

In James' finals loss to the Mavs he averaged 17.8 point per game Jordan would never disappear in the big situation like that.
