Anyone got a chance to see some games this guy has played?

Listed at 6'11, 240 pounds with 7'3-7'4 wingspan (good size and length).

Even though he played in a weaker Patriots league, it is still Div 1 basketball and this is what he accomplished this past season.

1) Patriot league player of the year
2) Patriot league defensive player of the year
3) Patriot League Tournament Most Valuable Player
4) Patriot League Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year award

That is what you call totally dominating your league. #4 is the icing of the cake and shows that this is a very smart kid.  Yet he is projected to be drafted in mid 2nd round

I've been only able to see Draftexpress scouting report on him. He looks like a complete inside/outside, post and off defender C/pf without great strength, athleticism, and quickness. The question now is, how much more stronger/conditioned can his body get, in order to handle nba competition?

Anyone else think a player like this with so many tools/accomplishments will still be picked in the 2nd round?? Who does the way he plays reminds you of?

Looks like an earthbound, underweight prospect to me.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

yup. One of the reason why the 2nd round projections.

Maybe instead of hitting the weight room he had to finish his homework.  But now that he is done school and has time to concentrate going t the gym, maybe he can surprise with a better body.

When i think of Muscala , i think of Marc Gasol. What a mistake it was for a # of teams to pass him up. He was unknown, faced weaker competition and had a chubby body for his drop to the 2nd round. Now look at him. Again, what if Muscala can strengthen/condition in time?

We all know the Patriot league is a breeding ground for NBA talent.

David Robinson was great but Adonal Foyle and Darren Morningstar weren't.   I heard noise about Robinson when he was in college, not so much this guy.

Seems too finese to be a big in the NBA.  Perhaps worth a second rounder?

Posted about him in another thread.  By far has the best post moves out of any of the players in the draft.  He's going to be a solid player in this league if he has a good work ethic, which it seems he does.

See, this is why I really don't get down with the 'student-athleticizing' of professional prospects.

I don't care what your real IQ is--the only thing that matters to me, as a fan, is your basketball IQ. Is it nice to see players that aren't stupid? Yes. Undoubtedly. That said, you don't have to be smart to be an athlete, and you shouldn't have to be in order to earn my respect for what you do on the field/floor/what have you.

If we pick him up and he turns out to be the second coming of Mark Gasol, I'll be completely ecstatic.
