Isnt KG 37? What I want to know is when the last time a player 37 or older had at least 18 rebounds in a game?

Rodman had 20 rebounds in a game in 1999 at age 37.  Hakeem had 20 rebounds at age 38 in 2001.

Dominique Wilkens had 22 and 18 in his last game as a Celtic.  He must have been around 37.

He's 37.  I'm sure he did it in the regular season but his playoff rebounding high is 10 so far this year.

When is the last time a 37 year old player had 17+ rebounds in three straight playoff games.

EDIT:  It hasn't happened since at least 1986, unless you consider Rodman's 4-game streak in 1998, the last game of which fell on his 37th birthday.

EDIT 2:  KG isn't 37 yet, either.  So, Rodman's 1998 streak trumps him.

KG's been holding out on us with these MUCH NEEDED rebounds all season! Way to save up for when it counts, big man! Keep it gritty, ballsy and nasty.

Whats more impressive to me was the fact that Garnett played 39 minutes.

Congrats to KG on a great series so far; but don't think it means a thing to him unless we bury the Knicks.

Wondering what the OP's source was, because as others have already stated it's been done many times.

Here's a few people I've verified have had these performances recently:

Rondo (5/9/10) 29/18/13 (pts/rbs/assists)
Rondo (4/20/09) 19/16/12 (pts/assists/rbs)
LeBron (5/13/10) 27/19/10 (pts/rbs/assists)
LeBron (4/21/11) 24/15/6 (pts/rbs/assists)
LeBron (5/13/12) 32/15/5 (pts/rbs/assists)
LeBron (5/20/12) 40/18/9 (pts/rbs/assists)
LeBron (6/7/12) 45/15/5 (pts/rbs/assists)
Chris Webber(5/09/02) 31/15/5 (pts/rbs/assists)
Carmelo (4/19/11) 42/17/6 (pts/rbs/assists)
Duncan(4/19/08) 40/15/5 (pts/rbs/assists)
Duncan (5/29/08) 19/15/10 (pts/rbs/assists)

Then when I was looking at Duncan, I realized back in 2003 he averaged 24.7/15.4/5.3 over his 24 playoff games that year, so he did it many times that postseason alone.  Then I got tired of researching this stat.  :)

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Duncan just turned 37 during the playoffs.  That bum has never even had a double figure rebound game at age 37.

Hopefully KG will get a double figure rebound game this season after age 37.  His birthday is May 19th.

When was the last time a player 37 or older had at least 18 rebounds in a game on a Wednesday with a waning gibbous moon?

TP for being detail-oriented enough to use the correct moon phase.

Brilliant game by KG - it's partly because of our horrible big depth, but he's rebounding like he's in his prime again.  Hope he comes back for one more year with the whole gang.
