2013: Kevin Garnett
1994: Scottie Pippen
1990: Larry Bird
1989: Michael Jordon

those are the only 4 players to do it in the past 25 seasons.

That's some nice company to be with.

WOW!  This guy's HOF ledger must be filled by now.  KG continues to amaze and inspire.  What a player.

That's surprising to me, actually.  KG had a very nice game, but that stat line doesn't seem like it would be so rare.

Especially doing it at his age...those other guys were at or close to their peaks.

Every time your ready to quit this team comes out and shows Celtic Pride.   I too am glad that KG came to Boston.  He is Celtic.

Maybe I'm missing something but Rondos done it at least once

Game 4 2010 against Cavs: 29 points 18 rebounds 13 assists.

He may have done it other times as well this game just jumped out at me. There must be other guys who habe done this as well. I can't believe this would be kgs first. And what abiut duncan, shaq among others

Yeah.  Doesn't make sense.  I mean Lebron James did it twice last year, including game 6 against Boston.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I thought kg had a bunch of blocks or maybe even steals so when I first saw this thread that's what I thought the 5 was. Even that I would be surprised.

In any case how about kg beasting on the boards? Not bad for an old dude who has been criticized of late for not being a good rebounder.

Isnt KG 37? What I want to know is when the last time a player 37 or older had at least 18 rebounds in a game?

KG pushed the clock back last night.  He was playing like he was 30 years old .

Without Sully , he has to do 75 % of the work in the paint.  KG misses Sully .

Praise for Bass , he saved the game from a blow out early on.

KG has to play well , or this team is simple finished in an all out battle with a playoff caliber team.

I'm sure there are a decent amount actually.

KG did it earlier this year and had 17 boards the past 2 games.

Now 52 boards in 3 games for anyone is a pretty crazy stat not to mention someone kgs age. That prob hasn't been duplicated

Against the knicks in the playoffs. Such an absolutely irrelevant stat and I'm stunned you after seeing this team play in the playoffs the last few years believed 15-15-5 hadn't been done since Scottie Pippen. Lol no. It's against the knicks, who have sucked for years.
That stat line isn't that eye popping

When was the last time a player 37 or older had at least 18 rebounds in a game on a Wednesday with a waning gibbous moon?
Yup
