Seems like only a few weeks ago people were talking about how he was better than Rondo at the same age.

Seriously, though, I think what we saw from him for much of the season (10+ ppg, great defense, average(ish) 3pt%) will be what we'll get when next season rolls around. His issue might be confidence, being uncomfortable with his role or an undisclosed injury, clearly we're not seeing him at his best right now.

He is not a PG!  Playing out of position, while he is not a pure SG either his athletic ability helps him guard true SG.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I think he needs to sit.

I know what he's capable of, but he's been overmatched. By Felton and at times, Junior Smythe.

Outside of that drive, he really isn't providing any production on both ends us.
I'd rather have Lee, a longer, stronger and a better shooter or T-Will who can handle the ball and pass better.

Bradley has been an unmitigated disaster this series.  AB has 30 points (in 36 shots) and 7 assists (to 10 TOs) in 164 minutes.  Luckily, he had a decent game one, going 7-14 with 4 assists in 35 minutes.

The last four games, he has only 15 points and 3 assists in 129 minutes. His defense has been shaky at best.  It's going to be difficult to win the next two games with AB playing big minutes and performing like this. For a guard to have only one assist every 43 minutes is bad, but for a PG, it's ridiculous.

I'm not buying the "He's not a PG" excuse.  The guy is a professional basketball player.   I'd venture that most guards in the league could be drafted to play PG and put up better numbers than what AB has done in the past four games.  He's a head case who clearly isn't ready for the big stage.

T will def earned some min last night for sure.

Bradley used to be a solid finisher at the rim but has been abysmal as of late.

Williams seemed comfortable at the rim, been decent on defense and has facilitated a lot better.

Plus I think having a bulkier guy on Felton could help a little so he can't bull his way throughbrsdley into the paint constantly. It will at least make him second guess himself when he sees T will in front

Since Barbosa went down, I told that Doc has to put Terry in PG role. AB is playing poor and can not make to be at PG positions.

Now guys will give me reason, Bradley is not a starter and is not ready for some playoffs, he's a great defender, but not point guard.

Terrence Williams is a very profitable player, I think he can contribute more than Bradley in offense, this is obvious.

Using AB as PG you will have at least 2-3 turnovers every quarter...Hope that Doc will shake up

AB has had a major fall from grace in these playoffs.

There were a number of people here heralding his return in January as the cure for this team's woes on D.  While he improved the D and the team's winning, that didn't last through the season.  This series has exposed him as an offensive liability and is putting nails in the coffin of his defensive-stopper reputation as Felton eats him alive.

I was on the fence about him being someone to build with but I really think he's trade fodder now.  unfortunately, his trade value has taken a major hit thanks to his playoff performance.

Hope the C's pull off the upset to get to the next round and see if AB can get his head out of his butt and actually contribute in the next round

In theory, Bradley should be one of the best lob passers in the league because boy can he sail some simple passes.  The overthrow of another pass last night, once again on a post feed, had me so incredulous but maybe not as incredulous as Bradley who was incredulously frozen afterwards for a good five seconds.  Bradley as lob passer extraordinaire is only in theory I fear because it's eminently possible he'd just sail that too.  I don't wish to know what a sailed Bradley lob pass would look it but it might hit the second deck.

That said, I still have faith he can bounce back.  Not as a playmaker or anything but he's not a horrible shooter that he should be missing the wide open looks like he has.  One of these games those open looks are going to go in.

NY guards are just to big for AB  inside ,

I was thinking TWill, would be someone who could deal with Shum and Smith,   I was shocked Doc pulled AB and inserted TWiill.     Doc deserves some credit for defying his normal routine and trying something different.

just wish Shav could a run or two ,   in with kG could be big inside for the C's,  yea I know it an't happening.

AB has been terrible.  Give Terrence his minutes, or at least most of them.  If AB shows signs of life, ok play him, but if not, sit him.  AB is not one of our best players and we should not go down with him playing terrible while playing big minutes.

Pretty much.

What Bradley is is a very limited role player who isn't an NBA starter, but rather a defensive specialist of limited value.

For a brief while, he looked like a suitable PG until the opposition discovered, essentially, that he can't handle the basketball, defeat a double team or pass the basketball.

Now, his value has been pretty clearly established.

At the age of 22, his defense is far beyond what most players in the NBA are struggling to do, only being good on one end of the floor.
Um no, his defense is a classical example of "it was good while it lasted" situation. Yeah, it worked before the opposition figured it out (and it needed some figuring out, since no-one else in the NBA really does that). At this point, he's getting beaten off the dribble and goaded into easy fouls with regularity.

All point guards get beaten off of the dribble, especially when picks are involved. I don't think that his play has been great on either side of the ball but I also think that his defensive impact is lessened when we play teams with multiple ball handling guards in the lineup.
