I long for a 15-three-pointers night. Please? PLEASE?

Yup. In addition to rebounding, that's another area in which the Knicks have really hurt us.

It be nice if we can have a game or seven where Pierce, Terry, Crawford, Bradley and Green go nuts behind the three point line.

My heart says yes but my mind says no.

All I know is game 5 can't come soon enough. I hate how much they space these playoff games.
Same here. Gonna be tough winning in msg

Unfortunately yes. It's too bad that our entire season hinges on a road game which is why the Celts needed to win either game one or two. As they say, you don't win a series til you win a game on the road.

  • KG IS THE KING
We know what we're gonna get with Pierce and KG. Green and Terry both went off last game, combined with Melo shooting 10-35, also no J.R. And we barely hung on and won in over time.

Now that J.R is back for them, we'll need another stellar game from Green and Terry to have at least have a chance. They've been too inconsistent all season so I am going with no. But I sincerely hope I am wrong.

I sure hope so. Would be really cool to see how the Knicks would handle coming to the Boston Garden for a game 6. Here is to hoping we come out hot on Wen.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
A win by us would be the proudest moment of the season for me on a season that had very few proud moments. The Celtics have for me at least, given me something to be proud every year since the big3 era began. They are due for something this year. Win the next game and I'll remember the grit this year as a team that was down 3-0 and didn't quit. I kind of expect us to lose, but I just have a gut feeling we're going to battle like it was an NBA Finals game. I think they give the Knicks all they can handle.

I feel like we're going to pull game 5 off. The Knicks are dangerously overlooking us and the entire city has us already defeated.

Big Mistake. Go Celtics!!!!
The Celtics aren't quitters. Why should you be? - blind homer

I really don't think so unfortunately...Jr Smith has been a huge difference and coming back I see us having a hard time scoring enough

We will try and it will be a hard fight.  I think if we play well in the second half we will win.  If not it's a loss.

Our second half collapses are inexcusable.

Doc will ride KG and Paul the Celtics will get a double digit lead early in the second half providing all Celtics fans with hope only to lose it all due to exhaustion just like all of our other elimination games 2009 Magic 2010 Lakers 2011 and 2012 Heat

As always it will be a valiant effort by a team with a heart of a champion

I doubt it.  I've been saying since before the series started that the C's would be lucky to win 2 games.  They've got 1 win which is what I'd thought they get (never predict the C's get swept).

-JET had his one good playoff game in game 4.  I'm figuring he'll be back to his useless self in game 5.  I don't see AB, Lee or Crawford stepping up to fill that scoring void.
-I don't see KG having a 20 point night.
-I think PP or Green is going to have any off night this time -- most likely Green since it's a road game.
-Playing in MSG, I don't see Bass lasting as long guarding Melo --> quicker whistles by the refs in MSG against the C's
-JR Smith is back for them.  That'll be huge for them.
-C's need OT to beat the Knicks without JR.  not good.
-Felton tore up the C's guard defense.  I'm not confident Doc will figure out how to stop that, especially since they'll have another shooter to have to guard out there for the Knicks.

Now, my prognostication skills are usually pretty poor to the point where I seem to jinx whomever I think will do well (see my PAPOUG playoff results for proof) so have no doubt the rest of you can lay money on the C's to win game 5

Well I don't think we can pull out the series.  I mean 3-0 down has never been done in the NBA right?  But I still like seeing them avoid the sweep.  And hopefully they will make the Knicks earn anything they get the rest of the way.

Keep fighting guys!!
