Always thought wearing the shirt that was given out at the gates was kinda lame, but lately it seems as if others think it's protocol for being a good fan. Wanted to know what others think

Just wearing the shirt does nothing. You can see that at any Heat game you choose.

When it's an army of fans all wearing the same shirt and getting into it (see: the warriors home games) then it's awesome.

So, clearly, my vote is for option C.

Looks cool on tv.  Don't mind some markets like Golden State & Oklahoma City doing it.

I just don't think it's something the Celtics should do and I know they've had instances in the past where they've attempted to do it.  I just think its more of a novelty and should be left to the less historical franchises or small market bases.

Yes, I know that comes across as pretentious and I really don't care!  ;)

;D

I think it also works best in smaller, more intimate arenas.

I guess y'all saw my posts yesterday...

Golden State makes it work really well, I love the all-yellow and it makes me love their team. OKC is not as good, but it still is aesthetically pleasing. I really liked when Boston did it a few years back

Don't care for it.

I remember going to the 1st playoff game in 2009 vs the Bulls, and they were giving out free, green Adidas shirts to everyone.  Hardly anyone wore them.  Neither did I.  I do still have it to this day, and occasionally wear it.  I also have a few white towels I've kept.

This stuff just doesn't seem to catch on in Boston.  More mature fan base.  ;)

see, I went to that game as well and thought it was cool that people basically said "thanks for the free shirt" and then shoved it in their pockets.

The funny part is, I think it was nothing more than ownership misreading the fan base.

I really wished I could find that picture of the all-green TD Garden.
