I don't think either team would really be up for this trade. Boston gives up [clearly] better players, but shaves a year of guaranteed salaries.
If NJ is really intent on competing now, they can do a lot worse...
I think I may have just convinced myself that NJ would be the ones having to sweeten the deal, not the Celtics...
On a somewhat unrelated note, this is kind of like trading Lafrentz for Ratliff - to get out of an extra year of salary...if Lafrentz actually had talent [at the time] and he was two productive players.
