Dubs, Kings, Celtics, Lakers, Thunder are my top five, in roughly that order.

Of those, the Warriors fans are the only ones that make me 'jealous.'
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

What you mean? Who screems more? In my opinion Kings Sacramento Fans are the best fans for the acctions that made to keep the Kings in Sacramento...

The fans that support their team at home no matter if it's a marquee game or a bottom feeder..and active during the game (cheering, chanting, standing..etc)

Warriors and Thunder in my opinion.  Boston's crowd is above average.

Id put Atlanta at the worst fans. They have been a playoff team for years now, and their fans act like they are the wizards/ bob cats

I'm leaning towards the all-yellow Golden State crowd or the all-blue Oklahoma City crowd.

I've always found this to be a bit too gimmicky for my taste.

Warriors fans are definitely loud, but I've been in the Garden when it's rockin' and it gets extremely loud there too.  Warriors fans seem more consistent, but I'm not sure that isn't a matter of them not being consistently successful.

There seems to be a pattern of teams that only make the playoffs once in a blue moon being really loud when they do get their one opportunity.  As opposed o a team like the C's, who have such a vastly greater amount of success.  Takes more to get a rise out of such fan bases.
The Celtics also give out t-shirts that they want everyone to wear. Many Boston "fans" just are just too fashionable to wear them. I think the volume of fans in the finals is irrelevant since it is probably the shape of the arena that accounts for a lot of the difference in volume in big games.

I can't compare us to other teams' fans because I've only attended playoff games here.

I won't buy into the OKC fan base until they go through tough years. They are in a honeymoon phase, inheriting a team full of excellent young talent.

One big minus for me is the number of people who wear gear for other Boston teams during a Celtics game. It is as if they want to make sure everyone knows that they like that other sport more.

Tha Thunder would be tha no-brainer, but I like tha Warriors home crowd more. Their crowd is live. They all stand to their feet whenever one of tha 'Splash Brothers' pull up from tha 3-point line. They just have a lot of energy.

But tha fans in TD Garden can't be forgotten either. Tha Garden rocks like no other sometimes. Sometimes I get too hype watching tha game because of tha fans reaction to Paul's back-to-back or clutch 3's. And when tha camera pans out to tha crowd after he drains them, it's amazing. Tha way Celtics fans get behind this team and give them energy is something special. Fans really don't come tha way they used to and tha loyalty and respect that's always been shown to tha C's still exist.

So i'ma sip tha green kool-aid on this one and go with tha Celtics.
Loyalty Is Royalty

Celts fans can be pretty great, but I thought they could have done a better job drowning the Knick fans yesterday.  That was kind of embarrassing hearing Knick chants and cheers in Boston.

The Knicks cheers were done fairly cleverly. The locals would do a chant like "Let's go Celtics" which is really "let's go Celtics ___pause___ let's go Celtics ___pause___ let's go Celtics". The knicks fans would quickly chant "new york knicks" during the pauses so they weren't as loud as the Celts fans but they were chanting when the rest of the crowd was (temporarily) silent.

I long for the day of an all-green Jungle.

They only did it once before :-\ it looked awesome. I love the one-color crowd, tbh.

Personally, I think the free shirts are kind of a sign of a bad fan base. Much rather wear my own Celtics stuff. Think it's a much cooler look to see all the different shades of green from everybody's own shirts/jerseys

I think people are getting a little out of hand with this crowd from yesterday, Boston is a GREAT crowd. But I think you're looking at an exception. Heck, I've posted ont his site 10,000 times, and I couldn't even get myself to watch the game yesterday after becoming so frustrated in the first three games.
