Yes, this is a different sport and yes, completely different circumstances but God, I remember that series where Red Sox looked beyond cooked and humiliated..kind of like how I feel right now about our beloved Celtics..Yes, we miss Rondo and having no PG on our team but the hell with excuses..Players with heart do not go out like squashed ants...

Nobody had ever done that kind of comeback before in baseball let alone against a NY team..kind of like now in a different sport...

I remember thinking back to that game 4 and just wishing they would just find a way to win 1..and then win another...and so on and so forth

Call me cautiously optimistic that despite the horror we have seen in this series so far, our team finds a way to win this one game today...Nothing in life is impossible and every now and then, we are reminded miracles can happen

Go Celtics...It starts with 1 win.... Play for Pride...Play for the Fans...Play for the opportunity to win 1 more after today...and then again and again...

Didn't the Bruins were also up 3 games to 0 against the Flyers and then proceeded to lose 4 straight to that lower seeded team o.O?  :(

I was thinking we were going to get some Ricky Davis flashbacks, but alas.

I'm interested which players you think correspond to David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Pedro Martinez, and Curt Schilling on this roster.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
As much as I like for this to happen to the Celtics, there are few things this team is missing from the Red Sox of 2004.

We need a Dave Roberts this Game 4, who will that be?

Will we have a David Ortiz who can close the deal? I think we do. But even if we have those two, the other two we just don't have.

We have no Pedro Martinez and Curt Shilling.

Hmm...David Ortiz equals KG..both clutch time and time again. When they play, their teams play better

Manny equals Paul Pierce...both consistent time and time again. You know when it gets close, they will come through more times than not

Today Dave Roberts equals Jet...who would have thought..when Terry plays like this, we have a chance every time out

Pedro equals Green in a few years...Right now, both when they are on, they are on and unstoppable...

We don't have a bloody sock yet to match Schill with anyone but we still have 3 games left for that prophecy to be fulfilled

Now that my heart has recovered from an amazing game..lets just win in NY on Wednesday..I remain cautiously optimistic and predict a war on Wed Night..one we will once again prevail in

Go Celtics

2 down, 2 to go!!  ;D

Can't wait for the tie on Friday!! Go Celtics..way to wear white to your funeral tonight.

Talk about an amazing game from start to finish. Sometimes I selfishly wish KG was a Celtics player from the beginning. He is definitely not human.

Big Shots by Green at the end as well and Jet, welcome to your 2013 playoff coming out party.  PP...what more do we need to say about him..always astonishing.
