I didn't see last night's game, and I thank God I didn't because I have this belief that you just do not get blown out in the playoffs.

I saw the box score and saw that we basically had our previous 2 second halves in the first half this time. Without Rondo, we have a very hard time with offense. Honestly, without a real point guard, we have a hard time with offense.

I will say I'm not 100% with Rondo on some things. I think any 'good' pg would at least have us at 1 win but that's something I look at management for. When's the last time we had a back up PG for reals? Dooling would be kind of useful now, don't you think?

I don't consider myself a 'Rondo hater', just someone who's not a fan of the laziness, divatude, flip-a-switchness of Rondo.

Also, at some point, this team needs to feature Jeff more. As I said I didn't see last night's game, so I'm not sure what happened. But we're going to need more Jeff. A core of Jeff, Rondo and great role players could actually be excellent for us.

Anywho, I apologize. My bad.

Rondos value has as much to do withy the fAct that we don't have a back up pg on the roster than ow good he is.

apologize for what?!?!  u dont owe anyone an apology, especially on cb, lol.

the regular season and postseason are night and day in the nba.  we would be fine without rondo for the regular season, but as we see, he is sorely missed in the postseason, where possession, control of the ball and half court offense, creating good looks for teammates, and where teams actually play defense. not to mention he turns into a beast in the playoffs

i like rondo a lot, but in all honesty, he frustrates me a lot sometimes.......but i dont think there is another pg id rather have in the postseason.

Appreciate you manning up. There's a few others who should do it, but we've seen the difference between the postseason and regular season.

I think the Boston media needs to send Rondo a big fruit basket. They didn't even wait a day before starting the whole Better without Rondo movement. I'm like the man just got injured..at least wait a week or so.

No, it has more to do with how good he is (especially in the playoffs), than the lack of a backup pg.

Let's start from a different point; What COULDN'T use more Jeff? What has the right amount of Jeff? (I understand nothing can have 'too much' Jeff, I'm not an idiot.)

First, TP for actually changing your mind based on what we've all seen.

Now, not to be a downer, but regarding Jeff, we've actually been getting more - he's playing 41 minutes per game and leading the team in scoring. He's second in FGA.

I think we are seeing that a team on which he's the #1 or #2 option is still not very good...

You did not see the game, but this team is not missing Rondo, but is mising players who are able to score. Even if Rondo plays, does not change everything is PP, Terry, KG, AB and other gys will shot 20% form the field.
So before palyoff this team has suferd for people who are able to score like Carmelo e JR Smith for Knicks. Is a proble wiht the way the tema is built in the summer. DA removed one of the best snipers of the NBA, Ray Allen, and did not get any valuable player who is able to score lke JJ Redick Korver etc.

The fall off of our big three from greatness, no Rondo, no Ray , PP and KG older... just to much to overcome ...not to mention Sully and Barbosa going down.  Loss of our good assistant coaches  Thibs and Frank.......

Tooooooooooooooooooo many problems.

I think Rondo would have helped .  the situation , then so would Sully and Barbosa.

I agree, Jeff is awesome, but enough about me, how about the Celtics?

I kid, I kid.

so are we saying that Jeff Green is like bacon?  cause that's high praise indeed
