After waiting an hour to talk to CNLS, they could not hear my voice and I was cutoff  >:(

The Celtics are a complete mess right now. They do not have any talent left and they are poorly coached. Doc Rivers has completely lost this team. It is time to clean house. Get rid of Doc Rivers, buy out Paul Pierce and save money. Trade KG all of it. Strip this team down to Rondo, Sullenger, Green, Bass, and maybe Avery Bradley. Take the rest of them and ship them out. Build for the future starting now.

I no longer want Doc Rivers coaching this team. He is a good old boys coach and he was fine as long as the Celtics are relevent. But they are no longer relevent on the NBA landscape and that was  confirmed REINFORCED tonight.

Danny and Doc were fooled last summer into thinking we could just reload with nine new players and just go for it. The pieces never fit and then the Rondo injury happened. We followed that up by our best three week stretch of the year and sold Danny to not blow it up at the trade deadline. And then the injuries eventually led to our lack of talent and cohesive and coaching getting exposed.

Things must change after we lose by twenty or more on Sunday and I guarentee a big loss Sunday. I take a pass and will not watch the Celetics game Sunday.

In defense to Ainge, I think if this team was healthy, we would have contended. At the beginning of the season it seemed the team was playing too unselfish. Rondo, Sullinger, Barbosa were HUGE losses. No one could have foreseen JET being this bad. The way he played in the 2011 finals, who wouldn't want him. I liked the move to get Lee. Jason Collins was a great addition.

Ainge HAS got to get rid of "Crawful". Ainge has to somehow manage to trade for a center. I think if KG retires, Paul goes with him. If not, Paul will be shipped to LA for young pieces.

Also, we have to find a backup point guard. Every contending team seems to have an explosive, offensive backup point guard.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
In defense of Doc, he's being tasked with beating a 2 seed, his most talented and best postseason player injured, a bigs rotation smaller and more shallow than Snooki, and on top of that, an injured KG, who is honestly a somewhat shell of his former prime when healthy.

Sometimes you can make an omelet with crap and some eggs, but usually you just get a crappy omelet.

Well then riddle me this?

On Christmas Day they destroyed the Nets by twenty points in Brooklyn and then followed it by three losses in California by over twenty points. They lost three out of four to Milwaukee and all games were played before Rondo was lost for the season. They had terrible losses in Detroit and Charlotte. They were way too inconsistent and got worse as the season went along. Doc basically could not put a line-up together he liked.

Doc has been here seven seasons. Three were very good, One was pretty good, and three have been absolutely hideous.

This season was a friggen disaster considering the reloading and I think Doc has to be accountable, I'm sorry. I think we need a new HC voice here.

Question: after firing Doc Rivers, who does Danny Ainge hire to do a better job--coaching a rebuilding team to boot?
