  • Ashy To Classy, baby.
We have our guard rotation set.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Seriously, I am sick of how butthurt some people in this thread are.

Nate has been crucial to the Bulls success this season, he has been super clutch and won a bunch of games all by himself, including a few games against Brooklyn.

I get it, you are sad because we traded him but c'mon. He is freakishly good this season and is playing the ball of his life. I would trade JET to get him back in an instant.
Overreacting much?

He had good two months, and some great playoff games. The rest of the time he pretty much did what Nate Robinson does  fill up the stat sheet in short minutes and with questionable efficiency.

Have you forgotten that Nate Robinson is terrible?

.............Have you watched a Bulls game this season?

He might be terrible if you compared him to the likes of Chris Paul...or Magic, Stockton, and Isiah Thomas, but he has been crucial to the Bulls this season. Above average point guard.

He was terrible as a Celtic. The grass is not always greener. Why bring him back? No point. We need to focus on getting a center. And pretty soon, a franchise player

The last thing we need on this team is undersized players at ANY position. I don't care if he has hops, he's tiny

Eh I guess the bar is pretty low but Nate Robinson was the best backup rondo had and even won us playoff games and filled in solid before he was traded the next season. He wasn't what he's been for the bulls after forgettable tenures with the thunder and warriors but decent

With healthy Hinrich and Rose, he wasn't all that amazing for the Bulls either.

One thing I notice is that some people on here don't want to give a guy his props for currently playing well if he did bad with the C's. Nate may not be a fit for the Celtics, but he's helping the Bulls tremendously and without him they wouldn't be where they are.

You can call him a scrub and question his shots, but that scrub is helping his team compete NOW. The playoffs is where guys either step up or fade out..and he's clearly stepped up because he has to. Can't knock him for that.

My wild guess is that Nate won't be available for the vet minimum next season and he gets more playing time than the 8 mins available behind Rose or Rondo.
However, if the C's tank and trade Rondo, I'm fine with bringing him back. He's a fun guy to root for.

Call me crazy, but during the playoffs this year I found myself wishing we had a straight-up old-school backup PG.

Nothing against Nate. I'm happy he's having success in CHI. But I just want someone who can bring the ball up, get us into the offense, and hit the odd open jumper.

I don't think Danny can afford Nate back at this point. His stock now rises as he carry the bulls in the playoffs.

While I'm ok with Barbosa, i'm skeptical about his injury. He may play next season but I don't know if he will be 100% healthy.
