Have you forgotten that Nate Robinson is terrible?

.............Have you watched a Bulls game this season?

He might be terrible if you compared him to the likes of Chris Paul...or Magic, Stockton, and Isiah Thomas, but he has been crucial to the Bulls this season. Above average point guard.

He always was.

Boston fans are overly harsh on their players because they tend to expect way too much, then get horridly upset when it doesn't happen.

Look at Jason Terry this season as a perfect example.  He's had a solid season by an other standards, but the way Boston fans talk about him you would think he's averaged 3 PPG in 35 minutes while shooting 25% and turning the ball over 5 times a night. He's been MORE THAN solid for us, but to most Boston fans he's a apprently been a disaster.  I bet a LOT of teams in the league would take what he's given us on their roster.  Last year (when our backup PG's were Keeyon Dooling and E'twaun Moore) I'm pretty sure we'd have taken this Jet in a hearbeat.

I'll go along with "not a disaster" for Terry but "more than solid" is quite an overstatement.

He was terrible as a Celtic. The grass is not always greener. Why bring him back? No point. We need to focus on getting a center. And pretty soon, a franchise player

The last thing we need on this team is undersized players at ANY position. I don't care if he has hops, he's tiny

I don't want a Nate Robinson type. I want a Will Bynum type. Someone who gets into the paint. Dribble penetration rather than jump shooter.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

That's like saying you wouldn't want Alex English in his prime because he was terrible during his time on the Bucks/Pacers.

I don't want Robinson on this team either because he wouldn't be a good fit (as we already have Rondo and a bunch of other guards that play his role), but please don't say he is terrible. Terrible comes off as a horrible insult, and I don't like it when players don't get at least some of the credit they deserve.

Are you seeing Nate right now(Game 4 vs Nets)? 28 points at 11/16 shooting. In less than 20 minutes of play.

I like Marcus Smart

Meanwhile I sit and watch to guys who gave away, Joe Johnson and Nate, make clutch jumpers and create offense with no help at all.

We gave away or let go all kinds of emotional and tough players: Nate, Baby, Posey, Perkins, Tony, Eddie House, Leon Powe, PJ Brown, Dooling and Pietrus. Its not looking like we replaced them well at all.

Nate is ok. I would bring him back on a right deal.

But Barbosa, i would def bring him back. I think he will fully recover.

Bring in Barbosa and waive Crawford

Good idea:

Rondo
Terry
Bradley
Lee
Crawford
Williams
Barbosa
Robinson

That 8 guard rotation will really help our rebounding, post game, and play while in the paint.

No thanks.

Do you like having a player that provides almost nil impact for you?

There is a reason he was benched in a bad washington team for the 2nd half of the year.

This kid has no prayer

the point is you trade the JET away. crawford and williams are insurance policies. so you're left with krypto-nate and barbosa coming off the bench for scoring punch as well as lee.
