Bass the key?

Hey all,

Just curious to hear others thoughts. I was looking over box scores for when our team was actually together for the few games it was in March and, along with Green's emergence, was the production from Bass.

Overal, he made about 6 out of 10.5 shots per game in the month of march while averaging 14 points. Doc also singled him out as the only player that really played a perfect game for game 2. However, he has only taken 8 shots in the first two series combined. What is up with that? Will he be unleashed in game 3 and perform better at home?

this warrants two questions: who should we start instead for the good of the team? Wilcox? Jet? Lee who has apparently in the doghouse?

Also, while his rebounding numbers are outstanding production wise, I would personally love to see him get more shots up than 8 in two games. I don't think crawford taking 11 shots is as good a use of the possession

While I would initially say Lee, I might consider starting Terry, in order to relieve Bradley of ball-handling duties.  Bradley can't do it, and it tires out Pierce.

Terry's been horrible, but he can handle the ball.  Gotta get something from him.  Our offense starts so late every possession, it's no surprise we can't score when the game slows.  Run Terry in the PnR with Garnett.

Eeesh It seems like it would make more sense to bench terry completely than start him based on his play. He has repeatedly missed wide open 3's this series and most of the season. I started to get excited when he made a few in game 2, but second half he was back to bricklaying

Two comments:

1.  Bass should come of the bench.  Bass and JGreen can't play together from the get go.  JGreen is not an energy player and so Bass(who is more energetic than Green, and won't turn down open looks) has to come off the bench.

2.  Would it make better sense to run the pick and pop with Bass rather than KG?  I mean,  Bass is a knock down shooter from 15/17 feet.  I know KG is a hall of famer, but this is 2013 and KG is not the same guy....
