does this team even believe it can win?
Honestly probably not. Just reading Pierce's body language, he's tired. He know's how hard it'll be just to win this game. Too much on his shoulders.

I have seen absolutely nothing that can give us any sign of hope out there...

at best we just hang even.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

You guys realize Doc's decisions are killing this team.
I think it is more about the players playing poorly.

I think very little of it has to do with coaching.

TP. Tell'em Chief. Mike Woodson has outcoached Doc Rivers. What has he done right this series?

If the players miss shots and play bad, its Doc's fault for not playing the scrubs at the end of the bench. If the players just good enough, its Doc's fault for overplaying them. If the players have massive limitations and Doc plays a form of basketball that best limits those weaknesses, he's a dolt for playing that style. If Doc moves things around, he's a buffoon for not doing it months ago.

Okay. I get it. Doc can't win with some of you. I know he has his faults(he drives me nuts with his lack of TO's at times, he loves the 1-3 screen play and doesn't play enough pick and roll and plays too much pick and pop, and his rotations at times....WOW!!!) but if the Celtics lose this series or game, it will not be because of Doc Rivers.

you think doc is using his players right and getting the most out of them????

If you think this is on Rivers, I have no idea what to tell you. We are at a MAJOR talent deficit to the Knicks right now. Major. It isn't close.

These guys have talked all the way through the regular season that our best basketball was going to be played during the playoffs and this is what is displayed?

What a joke these guys are.

Jeff Green has to be a 20+ppg scorer in this series.

without letting Melo score 35+

I am more worried about the Knicks shooters than Melo. I am happy to play Melo one-on-one and live with him having big scoring nights so long as you shut down the shooters like Prigioni, Shumpert, Kidd and the big men finishing inside - Tyson and Kenyon. Felton is key to stopping those guys. Gotta stop Felton.

I will live with whatever Melo and JR Smith get. I am happy to play 2-on-5. Shut down the other guys.

this team is playing the worse they've played since 2007. That's it.

Credit the Knucklebockers for their D, but the Cs can't make a shot, and now they've lost any confidence they had.

Need some energy off the bench. Play TWill and Shav.

Go Celtics...  :(

This is one of the worst offensive teams I have ever seen. Pathetic. Defense isn't much better

again, that is why i knew deep down inside last year was our last hurrah. i did not expect to beat OKC but beating the heat would have been a great way to go out for KG and PP being eastern conference champs and having one last shot in the finals. this year is proof that DA was right in wanting to get rid of players before it was too late. well , well well
LET'S GO CELTICS!

The good news is that the Celtics getting swept by an average margin of 10+ points means Danny Ainge can't possibly look us all in the eyes and tell us this team can contend next year.
