In the two second halves of this series we have less than 50 combines points.

This was the worst half in team history. No joke. Worse than game 1.

BTW, the Celtics' all time worst half prior to this series was BEFORE the shot-clock and 3 pt shot.

We gave up with 6 minutes left in a playoff game.

Doc's gotta go

Edit: Turns out this was the worst half by ANY team in playoff history

This was the worst quarter we've ever had in playoff history btw. No joke. Worse than the 3rd and last game's 4th.

I don't see Doc sticking around once Pierce and KG are gone.

Doc will stay. He signed to be around for the rebuild. It is not his fault that we have one player to show for our last ten draft picks and that we got old suddenly this year.

Oh, and Jason Terry was a pathetic replacement for Ray Allen.

This is not on Doc. Danny needs to take a long look in the mirror.

I think it's partly on the Celtics, but in part you have to give the Knicks credit for stepping it up in both games and playing like they are the better team and they know it.  They throttled the Celtics in the second half the last two games.

this team is done like dinner. last year was our last hurrah which is why it hurt so bad losing in 7 to the heat in the ECF.

Who would have ever thought the New York Knicks would become a defensive Juggernaut.

Our defense has actually been decent, but that offense, man.  Turrible!

Would have been a much different story with everyone healthy. Heck, we might even have actually gotten by the Heat and to the finals.

we shoulda done that last year. we shoulda beat the heat in 5 as crazy as that sounds. we outplayed then in 4 straight starting with game 2 in which we were screwed by the refs.

If tha Celtics are only gonna show up for tha first two quarters, what's tha point of even showin up for tha game when they're losing anyway?

This team must have a better mindset and they must match two halves together. If they continue to play this way they deserve to get swept.
