Guys,

I'm sorry but i would of rather us miss the playoffs this year and have a shot at a decent project. Our team doesn't just need a big man who can rebound, we need a 2/3 that is capable of scoring. Ainge is about to break the gang up, this is horrible. If Rondo was healthy I'm sure we could of won this series, but it looks absolutely pointless now. Why doesnt danny ever get a legit backup point guard?

You are dead on. We should have started the rebuild. Now we will be a middle of the road team which is the kiss of death in the NBA.

And some of the Celtic fans here say "we match up WELL against the Knicks and that we'd close this out in 6". SMH!

Told you I'd rather get the Pacers in the first-round.

  • GOT IT!!!
Pierce and KG can't carry the team anymore everyone knows this. The team is basically filled with younger players that have no idea what Celtic Pride is. You can't on guys like that this time of year. The team just never found an identity all season.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
The standards should have been dramatically lower. We were 1 game above .500 and the 7th seed. We lost key, key, key players. It would have been almost a miracle for us to upset the Knicks.

This may be KG/Pierce's last series.

The Knicks have a Defensive Player of the Year, the league's leading scorer, and the reigning Sixth Man of the Year.

Why did anybody expect the Celtics to beat them?  I just don't get it.

The Knicks are a contender, and the Celtics are an old, injured, crappy team.

I agree with all of this. Well, not so much the crappy part but they're best players who aren't hurt for the rest of the season are very old. PP and KG can't do it on their own for 4 quarters anymore. It's sad that Rondo and Sullinger got hurt but that's how things work.

The Knicks are just flat out better then the Celtics. They have been all year.
Peace through Tyranny

I pin all of this on Danny Ainge. I think he's had the type of year which should get him fired

Terry - Bust
Lee - Bust
Bass - Bust
Green - Talented but inconsistent (Perk/Green trade - FAIL)
Crawford - Bust
Terrence Williams - Bust

Not picking up a capable big or two last summer or at the trade deadline - FAIL.

Could've had Blatche, Martin or Birdman for a song and dance. Instead, Ainge stood by signed a bunch of scrubs at the trade deadline.

And don't think for a second that KMart isn't enjoying sticking it to the Celtics right now. I know I would be.

False

We're gonna perform a reverse sweep now.
Jeff Green - Top 5 SF

[Kevin Garnett]
"I've always said J. Green is going to be one of the best players to ever play this game"

Agreed. KMart is making Ainge regret his decision.

No one is crying my friend. It's just some astute fans calling it the way it is. No shame in it.
