Our bench scored 4 points on 4 free throws.  O-7 from the field!  The problem was not who started.

I think any line up change would be just rearranging deck furniture. The "big" line up (with Pierce at SG) is a good unit.  With our injuries, we are so freaking thin that we can't afford to have Crawford and Terry give us absolutely nothing and get next to nothing from Lee.  I don't think starting Lee or Crawford is going to change that.

If we get any kind of spark from any of these 3, I think it will change everything.  Terry has been bad for a while but it seemed like Lee was rounding back into form.  Some one (or two) please step up tonight!

We have a "big" lineup?

I love the Pierce at the two lineup. That lineup gives us our best five players on the floor the most. Its too bad we have nothing of a bench.

I dont know what this fascination is with Crawford getting more minutes, especially if hes guarding Kidd. Did anyone watch game one where Kidd torched crawford because of Crawfords shortcutting on screens? Total ownage.
Id give him another shot but he better play solid team defense and SHOOT. Stick williams on JR or Felton for stints and let him switch with Pierce or Terry.

I agree that Kidd is the kind of defender that can really negate a height/size mismatch with smart play, you really do need to attack him and take advantage of the fact he has lost a step.

Its still an advantageous match-up but I think the fact that it makes Pierce a liability on the defensive end and probably really drains his energy (not only for the game, but the series) doesn't make it worthwhile.

I think Lee starting with Green playing the 4 and Bass off the bench is the lineup I'd like to see, but his offense has been a bit suspect. If we are still struggling after tonight I would be willing to start Crawford. I know people say they don't trust him but I'd be willing to take a chance on his ability to explode rather than watching us struggle to keep up.
