will you resign terry nxt yr. if ainge acquired a dirk, varejao,p.gasol, noah type

i think terry was not used very well here
he is missing a guy like those i mentioned
and pair him with bradley or t-will
and change all system
we will be back on track next year
and if rondo was healthy + 2 big man kg and another one
+sully healthy, i think we are still a contender

remember when we got shaq and rondo is happy dishing some assist and so is kg, if terry was there i think he will be as good as you all want him to be...and i think turnovers will be lessen if rondo was playing...
i think terry deserves his salary, he is just not utilized well in this system...even you put him on the worst team is the coach knows how to use that players potential, even though it was years ago when he was good, i think he is still good to me...
the 1st game we all blame him...pair him with t-will + shavlik low post pick n' roll guy

Terry is under contract for two more seasons so this is a moot point.  He'll be back unless Danny can find somebody to take him off our hands for something -- anything -- of value.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Looks like we're stuck with him until he retires  :-\ I doubt Danny would ever amnesty him.

You can only amnesty players that were under contract in the last CBA.  Nobody on the Celtics qualifies other than Rondo and Pierce.

What is KG chopped liver.   It's time to face the music.  I love him as a person and he gives a great interview but this was a terrible signing in retrospect.

A 5 PPG drop is huge.

Yup, I think people should spend more time reading other peoples posts and responding thoughtfully than starting threads about resigning a player that we already have under contract for two more years.

Much can be learned by reading other posters thoughts, we have some smart people on this blog.

I'd offer you a shovel for that dig  ;)

agreed, threads by this poster don't show a lot of thought and are just brutal to look at -- like trying to read a James Joyce stream-of-consciousness pile of nonsense.

Can you tell me how the celtics got rid of ray allen?  was it by offering him more money than the heat did?

Ray allen left.

Be more honest pealse...DA put Ray Allen 2 seasons in row for trade...mostly close to tradeline time during middle of February. Since DA signed Terry, was clear not singing Ray anymore.

Sure and if they traded Ray for OJ Mayo they would have "Gotten Rid" of ray allen.  Allen finished the season with the celtics, was offered the most money by the celtics, and he signed elsewhere.

Please be more honest and deal with facts.
