This really sucks. Golden State was doing really well on the glass yesterday, this will probably change.

I'm really upset about this, I really like David Lee and all the guys out on The Warriors.

That's a major blow for the Warriors. He was a big part of what the did.

The Warriors had a great game 1 and lost in the last seconds. But without David Lee i predict a sweep or 4-1

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Oh man, David Lee...It was his first playoff appearance ever, right? I'm really feeling for him - it must be so frustrating for him right now.

This is a huge hit for them, but luckily for them, they have maybe the best backup 4 in basketball in Carl Landry (Derrick Favors and Elton Brand are the only guys I think are close this season..usually Brandon Bass would be up there too, but not this year).

They'll run out

Curry
Thompson
Barnes
Landry
Bogut

with Draymond Green and Dwyane Jones getting some minutes at the 4.

I also hope they try Harrison Barnes at the 4 in a small-ball lineup of

Curry
Jack
Thompson
Barnes
Bogut

I think that lineup has the potential to be very dangerous offensively, against the Nuggets at least who'll play Faried, Chandler, and Koufos there.

That sucks. David Lee has been good for them all year. And I was excited about tha Warriors making tha playoffs because that was my sleeper team. Big loss for tha Warriors but so is Gallo for tha Nuggets. But I still expect tha Warriors to fight and make it a series. Mark Jackson won't allow his team to fold.

That's too bad, the Warriors were my second-favorite team in the playoffs.  And in Lee's first career playoff game, too.  This probably sinks them unless some very inexperienced guys step up big time.

Wow.

And how prescient was that Dwayne Jones signing earlier this week?

No way can Bogut be relied upon for much more than 30 minutes a night. Dubs will now need to lean heavily on Landry and a bench committee. Mark Jackson's coaching mettle about to be tested.

Harrison Barnes, make me look SMART!

There's always next year. Lee is only 29 and they'll only get better.

C - Bogut, Ezeli
F - C.Landry, Draymond Green
F - H.Barnes, R.Jefferson
G - K.Thompson, J.Jack
G - S.Curry, J.Jack

The Warriors still have good depth and balance.

Really tough break for a fun team to watch. I thought they were going to get derailed by an injury, but I just assumed that it was going to be Bogut who went down.

I had the Nuggets winning the series anyway, but thought it would be one of the better ones to watch, now I'm not so sure. Landry is a great guy to have to plug in as a replacement, but he was already so important to this team's success and there isn't much behind him.

Its a shame. I know they are really high on Draymond Green though, so maybe he can show some talent with an extended run (probably not enough to push them through, but for their future).

So many injuries this year. Everything is working out perfectly for okc and Miami rematch.
