  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
The entire season Terry has played much better at home than on the road, I don't expect him to have game where he makes a difference on the road.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

still think Doc is using him poorly

I haven't ruled that out either.

But as a Player's Coach, if this is the case I wish Jason, Paul, KG - whoever - would just sit down with Doc and make suggestions...Doc has always said he's not perfect, but he is still the coach...but he is certainly approachable.

We're going to need JT's production to survive NY and this playoffs...if he goes 0-4 again or keeps doing this, BOS will have a quick out in these playoffs.

In the interview Doc did after the game, he said he listens to his players than he does his assistants in suits and ties.  That says a lot about Doc.  And I believe a lot of what most of us are yapping about has been discussed behind the scenes by Doc, KG, Pierce, and even Terry himself.

People should stop blaming Doc for Terry's shortcomings.  Terry is terrible as he's been all season long.  Plain and simple

April is his worst month. The others were passable.
November and February (i think) were his best shooting months.
We know JET told Doc to put T-Will on the court when he's out there, but that's not going to happen in the playoffs. Jet knows what he needs to play, but if he doesn't get or we don't got it, then what?
I'm still honestly not ready to totally write off Jason. He's still got some quickness for his age. He's a bit of a showman and makes questionable decisions, but I just want him to get hot.

I support JET and I think he will pick it up as long as he get's those open shots. Last game was a VERY BAD night. I believe he will pick it up.

Although, I do also agree that if he will not contribute, find someone else who will. He should be benched if he doesn't.

Next game should be his last chance. Last night was historically bad.

As some already mentioned, the Jet probably won't make a difference on the road. In the RS 8.7 PPG, .375 FG% and .313 3P% and a Net Rating of -7.2.
I say give him one last chance, when we play the first game in Boston.

Honestly, I'm beginning to wonder if the only reason he hasn't been benched yet is because Doc is afraid to admit that it was a failed experiment.

I mean, Doc has stuck with him so long in the hopes that he would turn it around, and with people all around him saying that Terry was done. Doc may be worrying about how he'd look finally admitting defeat.

Hell, Doc could even have secretly become obsessed with the turnaround of Jason Terry, and be fearing that the moment he finally benches him is the moment he would have turned it around.

I'll be a man about it. I was wrong.

Terry, you won us a game. I have partly forgiven you. Now just keep it up.

LOL at the people digging this thread up. One nice game does not justify a season-long debacle.

Exactly, pretty much! 70% of me is already in the offseason mode discussing about trades and free agent signings while 30% of me is still in the series.

What? Over? Did you say over? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL NO!!

It's not over until Ray Allen's momma sings.

So if anyone needs me I'll be over here backing JET and bleeding green.
