Guys like T-Will and Crawford have talent, but they need to prove they can handle the pressure on the big stage and not be a liability if they want to earn significant minutes (just as Ryan Hollins did last season).

Ryan Hollins was a liability when he played last year. The only reason he was playing was our lack of healthy bigs.

I can't believe Terry. I'm guaranteed sure he'll have a huge game to prove all of us wrong. When you look at his career averages of 16.9ppg (44.8 FG%, 39.4% TP%) plus 3.5 assists, it's hard to believe that it all just vanished. That was just his 8th 0-point game in his career (out of 1188 games) and first single-digit playoff game ever.

It would be historically ridiculous for JET to keep these bad stats going. I don't see how it's possible for him to stay this bad. I'm almost 99.9% sure he has a huge game, or at least a 15/8 game or something. A game winner, perhaps? ;)

Has any player ever had such a huge drop off after one year? If he keeps this bad play up, I'm pretty sure it'll break all sorts of NBA records

Was so frustrated with JET today. Really hope he bounces back. If not time to dive a little deeper into the bench. But if hits some of those shots today the game is a different story. We need like 12-14 ppg from him if we plan on making any noise.

But I still think he's gonna win us at least one game in the playoffs.

It could be argued that he lost this game for us, so he really needs to win at least two for us now in order to come out ahead.

Can I get Von Wafer back? Or E'tawn Moore? I'm sure those two are way better than Jason Terry these days....

he is already on bench, perhaps we should start him to skae things up.

By the way, you should not bench a shooter because the only way shooters get out of a slump is by shooting. Terry needs to be told by DOC is to take the ball to the hoop when his shot is not faling. Get some layups or free throws. That will restore confidence.

He's had all season; it's not his confidence. As you can tell from interviews and other arrogant remarks, his confident is sky-high. It's his talent level that's collapsed.

It's one game!!! Terry hasn't played for 2 weeks so he needs to get his legs back. I'm not a big fan of his, but I feel like once he gets it going we will need him. Green, Pierce, and Garnett will get most of the focus. Once Terry hits a big three that's when the floor spreads out more. I got faith in this team, I won't give up after one game when there are seven games for a reason.

So what's his excuse for the rest of the season?

Terry is not only missing shots, he is taking terrible decisions. That's mind-boggling : the best example from last night is the time he went for a crazy dunk instead of simply going for the layup... he got blocked and the Knicks got an easy basket (if I remember correctly). Not to mention his bad passes or choices but that was the case of the entire team last night.

He's not missing shots he's bricking shots, He's good for 3-4 terrible entry passes a game that are either picked or deflected.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He had a bad shooting night but I don't know why people are saying he turned the ball over.

We need to have a little more faith in this guy because he's been here before and has embraced the limelight of the playoffs.

Does anyone remember him torching Lebron- Spoelstra stuck Lebron on him and he torched him for 26 points (or something like that?).

The guy is a scorer, the only looks he's getting are threes.
No pick and rolls, no pin downs, no curls.
It's not just his fault.

Mark my words if you're going to hate on a guy who's so crucial to our success you might as well give up on this team now because  without him scoring his average 10 ppg we ain't getting to the ECF again.

Give him a chance to shine in the playoffs. That's why we brought him here. He knows he screwed up but he's got time to make up for it.

His defense has been very good too, his deflections and passing lane denial are gold.
This is the kind of guy who's got the ability to suddenly catch fire and make everyone eat their words.
I just hope it's not too many of our own green blooded Celtics fans that do eat em. Jesus give the guy some positive encouragement- he' been there, done that when it comes to playoff basketball so have a little more respect.
Without him we are nothing this post season.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

He is running out of chances.   I hope your right but a few more games like this one and it's time to break out the amnesty clause.

Even Williams could come in an go 0-9.

Meh it's just one game of potentially seven. C's stunk up the MSG in the 4th quarter but still ended up going down by just 7 points. We just have to win once in NY and hold strong at home.

JET is a baller, he'll come good, he needs to have the ball more and play off the dribble, JET's not a natural spot up shooter.

Best news for Doc so far is Tyson Chandler's bulging disc.

Kudos to Bass for his 10 boards. Also nice to see the C's with 19/19 100% on free throws but with all those turnovers we just sunk our own battleship.

Stay Green!
