i can go on green pierce terry crawford running the offense,
i just want bass to stay at the middle, clogged the middle box out, help kg at center, and give us a descent 11 or 15 rebounds a game, shavlik kg bass will cover 4 and 5...a little of green for defensive purposes

i can see pierce having maybe 14-26 fg, also the rest, if tyson was playing, i want a help at PF,

I don't care what Bass does as long as he "does the [dang] thing"

Ridiculous. Have you watched Bass these past 20-so games? He's been our second-best player (if you don't count KG who has missed 11 of those games)

6.5 rebounds ain't enough? Sorry, but you're not getting much better than that. His jumper is consistent.

A "descent 11 or 15 rebounds a game" is totally unreasonable.

have you saw earl barron? tyson melo smith...
they hit 3's we counter, we attack inside or jump shots
we missed tyson melo smith for rebounds, tyson can give you 20 rebounds if he did his thing

if knicks keep on missing some shots, with a limited minutes on shavlik, bass and kg is where i'm counting in...

i know terry and pierce will missed some shots too...so i want someone who can help us get offensive rebounds...with bass maybe 12 points and 6 rebounds, and with wilcox performances as we saw...

if knicks sucks at hitting 3's they can attack easily inside as they did many times...especially when tyson was playing..giving them a low post scoring...

small line-up won't save us here...

Now this, I agree with. Unfortunately, I don't feel like we will get many offensive rebounds if we fall back after missed shots (hopefully there are no missed shots)

I think Bass can make a difference and he might make a few loud putbacks. What's more important is him hitting his mid-range jumper with confidence as well as finishing at the rack. He should play decent 1v1 defense on anyone they put on him, and that should be enough.

If the Knicks hit their threes, I'm not sure what we can do. Just gotta close out... we need that league-leading 3-pt defense, NOW.

kg and bass are pick n' pop players
most of the times they are outside, you know, mid-range jump shots,
but if pierce bradley terry keep on missing shots, where are those two? outside? kg and bass?

i saw that many time, especially ecf boston vs. miami  last year...who saves us? its rondo grabbing rebounds

vs. bobcats. hornets, detroit. bucks, etc; a slight changes must be made here, i don't know if shavlik and kg is a good idea...since shavlik gives us low post scoring and hustle plays box-out and rebounds, he can spread the floor, now kg can hit those mid-range jump shots, if he misses shavlik was there... whoever goes SF to help green or pierce, i'm counting on those two

I think it would be unwise to change his game now.  He is what he is and that is a jump shooter.

I'm not counting on KG to much these playoffs which is why my hope is so very low. So with that said, we need Bass in the middle on offense and on defense to grab boards and put some pressure on Chandler

A very good one, if he keeps it up.

do you think bass will get 14/15 fg? who gets those misses i was thinking its chandler, specially when kg is tired at C position banging with tyson, i'd rather have bass putting pressure on tyson and who ever goes pf...

If Kenyon Martin is guarding Bass, KMart is a worse perimeter defender than he is a post defender, so it would make sense for Bass to spend more time on the outside on offense.

We have to go in and play our game.   Bass is what he is folks.  He has never been a solid rebounder.  Bass averages what 4-5 RPG a game for his career.   It's not like he can turn on a switch and become Dennis Rodman.

bottom line, Bass needs to be consistent with his jumper and hit the boards.  C's can't afford any weak links in this (or any) series.

Bass absolutely needs to keep shooting. The only area he really has the strength to impact is as a scoring PF.

If you want Bass to play center and Grab 11 to 15 rebounds per game I don't know what to tell you.  I don't think you fully understand how our team has been built.
