The Vinnie Del Negro era in LA has ended, per Wojo:

It's being reported on ESPN that Vinny Del Negro will not return as Clippers head coach. Pretty sure to some this isn't breaking news. But more doors are opening for my man Brian Shaw. Wish he could hop on tha Celtics coaching staff tho.

Funny, was just talking w/ a friend about how the NBA keeps getting smarter.

With Kahn and Colagnelo gone, seems like the knucklehead GM's are out, and now no Vinny Del Negro.

If the Clippers can get a good coach and bring Chris Paul back I see a big time comeback for Lob City.

I think hes a nice developmental coach (D.Rose, B.Griffin) but I think if LAC wants to go to the next level, they need a more experienced guy who's not gonna be afraid to push them. Either of the Van Gundy brothers or Jerry Sloan could be a terrific fit.
