Won't even be close in game 7.

yeah, game 7 will be a lot like game 7 of the ECF last year.

It was a glorious first half, at least.

here is the deal....

I am so p---ed I forgot what I wanted to type...

Oh here it is... Ray had a couple of fouls that should have been break away fouls, with free throws and ball BUT NBA ref did not call it that way. No clear path fouls were given when they should have ...

Yeah.  I expect the Spurs to make a good show of it.  But I just can't imagine how any team -- especially an older one like the Spurs -- could come back from losing a game like this.

They gave the Heat their very best punch, they almost got the knockout, and then the Heat got up off the mat at the last second and clocked them.  Just gotta tip your hat to the Heat, honor what the Spurs did this season, and hail to the King.

Unbelievable shot by Ray Allen.  If Miami wins the title, that shot is one of the biggest in the history of the game.  You'll see it over and over and over and over and over again on endless highlights.  Like Magic's sky hook or Jordan's up-and-under or something.  Dude is making history at his age.  Hat tip to the legend.

Yup.

And it hurts knowing that of all the shots he hit with the Celtics in big moments, it will be the shot he hit as a member of the Heat that gets replayed constantly.  That's the iconic moment of his career now.

It was a big shot, but you're getting carried away. When it dropped, Heat had had all the momentum for like 4 mins. Everyone knew it was over. He got the ball wide open in a perfect spot... it was Bosh that got him the ball, and made all the defensive stops. And Lebron that did everything else that quarter.

Disagree. If that ball doesn't get tipped around like that the game series is over.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
I've calmed down now.  And after calling the NBA rigged, fainting after Ray made that three, and screaming at the TV, all I have to say is WHAT A GAME.

Makes me sick. Spurs are done... no way Miami loses at home in Game 7.

Mencius,

You don't think Green got fouled on the last shot attempt??

Smitty77
To be honest, I didn't get a good look at whether he did or not.  I was watching, but just couldn't tell.

He bodied Green and knocked him out of bounds. Every replay showed it. But if they are not going to call the foul on Ray when he molested Manu, they are not going to call the one on Bosh.

You can't NOT call that last foul on Bosh.  I don't care if  you are letting them play.  It is the last shot of the game.  He body blocked him, there was contact.  Green should have been shooting 3 free throws.  It was absolutely a horrible call.

Now I know the Spurs partially blew it themselves with the missed free throws and bad plays by Manu, but that last play, clear and obvious a foul.  I couldn't believe it.
The refs blew that one.

I'm so emotionally drained right now I don't even know if I can manage to watch G7!

Hopefully Spurs win, but I want more from these teams.  Best series since ours vs LA in 2010 (even if it didn't end well).

The fact of the matter is, there's no OT if SAS makes their FTs.

They choked.  And I hate saying that.
