Spurs closing out the half strong. Hopefully they can keep this up and take a 2-0 series lead.

I think another small run here by the Spurs to put them up 20+ would really break the Grizzlies self-belief.

Even a 5-0 run the other way, in Memphis favour, would put this back in shooting distance. Spurs gotta be careful. Need to extend this lead some more. Don't let them hang around.

Tony Parker playing some beautiful basketball here.

Two lovely passes to Tiago Splitter for easy finishes inside.

Memphis have been so close but can't get quite there. Good effort at a comeback.

Oh man, that was a terrible turnover by Manu Ginobili.

Eesh ... that was a hard fall by Tony Allen on the foul by Ginobili. Smart foul by Manu. I don't think that is a flagrant. That would be a heck of a good turn for Memphis if they get a flagrant here. Two shots and possession. Four point game right now. Could swing the tie their way.

Edit: Oh man, they gave the flagrant. Ridiculous.

Tony Allen flopping like crazy trying to sell a flagrant foul.  His head didn't hit the floor at all.  Lebron would be really proud of him.  The only thing Allen didn't pull from the Lebron flopping playbook is check for blood on his lip.  One of Lebron's best flops was when Sam Cassell hit him on the chest and Lebron checked his lip for blood for three minutes.

Wow, what a controversial flagrant foul.  If Allen doesn't roll around on the floor like he fractured his skull, no way that gets called a flagrant.

I'm not complaining however.  San Antonio deserves being on the wrong end of nonsense calls.  I wouldn't have objected to Ginobili being ejected and suspended for the this playoffs and the next season's playoffs.

NBA where flopping like a dead fish on the ground gets you a free possession.

What a joke just grab your head after every fall. Abbott is probably already writing a true hoop column calling for a Manu suspension.

Lost a lot of respect for Tony Allen. But how can you call that a flagrant foul?! Anyway, Spurs scored only 2 points in last 8 minutes of play. They can't blame anyone but themself for giving Memphis a chance to come back.

Whatever Memphis does, don't leave Ginobili wide open at the three point line like Golden State inexplicably did.

Good defense by Memphis. Late foul. Smart.

I wouldn't mind seeing that foul to give rule taken out. It does kind of ruin some of these last moment possessions.
