Of course, the point guards on all those teams are solid. The lakers had Nash and Kobe though (well until Kobe got injured). They sucked because Gasol mailed it in long ago and Dwight is a selfish idiot who lost some athleticism since his back surgery.
Nash is well past his prime. Kobe, as much as he tries, isn't what he used to be. Teams need to be well put together, the Lakers weren't and that was exposed throughout the year. Like KG said about throwing a bunch of stuff together doesn't always work. Good chemistry and a complete team are necessary to contend as well.

Miami will lock the paint and run like hell to cover the perimeter. If the pacers can have 4 decent games at the 3s, they will win.
Go pacers!

Haha....send it back, Son!!!

Nice game by Roy...the kid became a Man this game.

Amazingly, our KG has played well vs Roy this year.

Good riddance by the Posers from NY...they did get better, but NOT better than a RONDO-LED Celtics Team.

I really hope Danny keeps this group together...Knicks are simply NOT better than BOS with Rondo, and will prove it next season provided Danny gives this group ONE MORE SHOT.

Congrats again to Indy!

Lance Stephenson has been huge on the boards for Indiana.

8.1 rebounds a game from the SG spot. Leading the team with 7.5 defensive rebounds a game.

9th in the entire league in the playoffs in defensive rebounding percentage from the SG spot. Hibbert only has a 15.3 def reb %. West 16.3%. Heck, Paul George gets more defensive rebounds than those two guys too with 18.3%. Then there is Lance Stephenson way ahead of the pack at 23.9%. 9th best in the entire playoffs. A shooting guard! 9th best defensive rebounder in the entire playoffs.

Other names on that list = Reggie Evans, KG, Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard, Faried, Bogut, Asik, Bosh. And then Lance Stephenson. After L.Stephenson, Duncan and Boozer.

Incredible company for a two guard to be keeping. Huge work on the defensive glass.  11th best in defensive rebounds per game if you prefer or 3rd best in total defensive rebounds (once you cut out all those guys who got knocked out in the first round).

Amazing.

Just watching the Knicks/Pacers game 6. Great game overal, impressive work by the Pacers to survive what has been an excellent offensive showing by Carmelo.

Knicks poor efforts in the first half really cost them. They gave up easy layups in transition and on straight line drives with no rotation or even defense! Stephenson alone had 3 of those at least in the first half.

Then poor rebounding effort in chasing down some long rebounds, had position and time to get them but just half efforts allowed Stephenson and others to steal them for extra Pacer possessions.

Shumpert and Melo with great play to get them even at the end of third (where I am right now)

Hibbert doesn't really hunt down defensive rebounds, not like he does on the offensive glass. Don't really understand why, no reason he couldn't.

Copeland is giving the Knicks a real lift, same thing that Novak gave them last year and earlier in the year.

It is pretty impressive. I can see why Bird was so high on him.

Didn't someone say Lance reminded him of Green?

Lance Stevenson reminds me of Jeff Green a little bit

Replicate the reboundin' plz ;D

OKC really annoys me so I was happy to see them eliminated but I hate the Spurs even more so it has me in a curious position of being glad OKC is out and wishing they were still in and fully healthy and giving the Spurs the business.  Oh well.

Normally I'd feel bad for OKC because they were doomed by a fluke play that injured their 1A player but they're still so young with so many collective prime years remaining that I can't feel too bad for them.

Really? I was kinda hoping for 7 insanely tight games :]

Then again, one blowing out the other promises a better series in the finals, I reckon.

C'mon San Antonio!

Excited for this one. Should be a very good game. Memphis will be much better after their poor performance in game one. Spurs going to have to match their intensity.

I love watching Tony Allen defend point guards.
