Maybe im late but I just found this piece from Celticsblog's own Jeff Clark.

If you are offended by this stuff, then maybe you might not want to read it (or if you are maybe you wanna give this a shot anyway).

Anyways, I have long felt a connection and a deeper reason for my devotion to the Celtics, and Jeff (who shares the same faith as myself) summed this up very well.
