Game not gonna be rescheduled.

Quote
"Yes, I’m playing all 82 games," said Green. "That’s my goal."
That's not happening any more.

Prayers up.

any reason why?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

So, I very much get why they would cancel the game, but permanently? Is that usual?

A truly tragic event. I hope this team can rally around this and make the city of Boston proud and give them something to cheer about and beat the Knicks

Unusual but since the playoffs are coming up and the NBA doesn't want Boston/Indiana to complain, plus the fact that Boston/Indiana have both clinched makes it reasonable.

Classy move NBA.
My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Boston and everybody affected by the horrendous events.

Makes sense.

When I saw this on tv it just said postponed.  You have a link?

I did first guess it would be permanent though.  Timing reasons.

Yeah with the playoffs coming up there isn't any time for a makeup date for a meaningless game.

I almost wish they'd play it just to show the terrorists that life goes on, but canceling is completely understandable and probably the better choice.
