Sherrod said Doc was thinking of suspending Terry the remainder of the games for running his mouth and he won't play tonight?  :o

Doc Rivers has decided not to play Jason Terry tonight in Orlando. Tip-off against the Magic is in just less than an hour.

Look, I love some good trash-talking, I really do, but this is disrespectful.  Terry is way out of line here.

And to echo what others have said, Terry should be busy working on those WIDE OPEN jumpers before he opens his mouth.

Very disappointed in Terry's lack of professionalism.

Woah. Didn't think they'd do something like that, but hey, more minutes for everyone else

How can you love trash talking and in the same breath say this is way out of line? What kind of trash talking do you like then? lol.

And we will see if he does that when the games mean the most. Hes a role player. Someone pointed out that terrys numbers are very similar to what they've always been. Hes always been a streaky shooter, hes always been a trash talker, and he usually steps up in big games *playoffs*.

So lets wait until the playoffs before we chop off his head. If he does step up, most of you will look very foolish. If he doesn't, ill join all of you with the terry bashing.

I didn't see this as trash talking.  This was more of bashing then it was trash talking, and yeah, there's a difference.

Usually, bashing isn't justified and it's cowardly.  For instance, are the Magic terrible?  Sure, but I'm not so sure Terry can say this, as he plays for a team that's 40-39 and is in a slump himself.

I'm a fan of Terry, and my evaluation of his signing will be dictated by his playoff performance, but this act of professionalism (or lack thereof) was out of line.

Fair enough, even tho I don't agree fully.

This is kinda how I feel. I'm not a big fan of the whole politically correct garbage. Be the man you are in private and in public and that's what terry does, respect.

Disagree. It's one thing if you can back it up and Terry can't. The Celts signed Terry last summer to be their 6th man. This season, he hasn't played well enough to even be considered the 66th man.

jet's performance, or lack thereof, has nothing to do with his speaking the truth about the magic. #fact
