He's eligible to be picked up by any team, but he is not eligible to be on a playoff roster

I'm sure a genius team will pick him up for two games ;D That'd be the ultimate troll move

Charlotte perhaps? They need that boost to avoid last again ;D

That is a puzzler.

Jacks is their second best wing defender against SFs. San Antonio will likely have to go through Durant and LeBron and their team's small ball lineups. Stephen Jackson would be very valuable as a bench player in helping to matchup against those teams.

He must have done something seriously wrong because this is a significant loss to San An's supporting cast.

I'm losing years off of my life watching Jordan Crawford play meaningful minutes for my favorite team and the Spurs don't even want Captain Jack?!?!

Holy moly!  Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. did Jax do?!
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Looking at his stats for this season . . . I think Jax was just bad this year.

Still, you wouldn't outright CUT him unless something was up.

Ugh didn't he lose a son during childbirth a few months ago?  What a terrible year for him.

Then watch, next year, he will be a contender for 6th man of the year with Miami

Wow, I bet SJax is p---ed. Can't find another team at this point, and I doubt he gets a playoff share from the team.

He must have really ticked Pop off.

I think Woj's report said that they had been budding heads, and had discussed a 'breakup' near the trade deadline so he could find another team, but both sides agreed to stay put.
