with the help of the guys rondo sully bradley green pierce etc; can this team make it to the finals?
what will be our rebounding standings in other teams?

imagining a duo of sull/varejao or garnett/varejao
lets say next season all of them are healthy
doc rivers would be very happy as he sees on shavlik

varejao averaging 14points 14 rebounds a game
with rondo 17assist and 14 points a game
with sully 9 or 10+ rebounds a game
shavlik 9 rebounds a game
green 20+ points, pierce 20+ points
kg defensive presence with the help of andy

i can put sully/kg sully/shavlik kg/shavlik kg/sully varejao/shavlik varejao/sully
all players are fighting for box out and rebounds
and sg can do a pick n' roll offense/defense which we don't see on kg and terry

rebounds SOLVE
box-out and hustle points solve
= defense
sign mozgov as back-up center    $3,925,536 (salary)

now we need offense
maybe a swap player?

kyle korver $5,000,000
Ben Gordon $13,200,000
O.J. Mayo $4,200,900
Tony Allen $3,300,000
Brandon Roy $5,329,500
J.J. Redick $6,190,000
Tyreke Evans $6,927,157
Nick Young $5,600,000
Andrei Kirilenko $10,219,420
C.J. Miles $2,225,000
Hedo Turkoglu $12,000,000
Trevor Ariza $7,727,280
Carlos Delfino $3,000,000
these are free agents

any of them....

just a highlight to show how good he is

You really have a love jones for Varejao huh?

But having Varejao out there with Sully would be great. Beefy front court and our rebounding would definitely improve. Rebounding and size should really be Danny's off-season focus. I know size doesn't come like it used to but there's definitely a need for it when you see an undersized Power Forward playing Center.

I'm still keeping tha faith in my man Melo to develop and use his size and athleticism to help plug this teams front court holes.

We all know Varejao's game. And it's no secret he's a beast when he's healthy, and so is Bynum. But I wouldn't go that far to say he's tha best center. Tha best center in tha league is a debatable topic all day long but when you still have other centers like tha ones you want to put aside, it's hard to give Varejao that title. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

Some players are slow to come around but I wouldn't give Melo that long to develop when he can be one of tha nominated players for DPOY in 3-4 years. I know that's a shot in tha dark but you never know who you have on your team. I haven't kept up with his D-League run but he's had a stretch of games where he dominated so something is clicking within him. I just hope he continues to get better.

AV isn't really a 14-14 player on a decent team, more like a 9-11 or so player.

there is only one LBJ ,   not likely to be another for a while maybe a lifetime.... a substitute for a big man

the small ball crap isn't gonna work for the Celtics,  if we are to compete , gonna have to have a younger Big that can play ball.   Sully and Shav are decent . But not the BIG -BIG we need to start ...like Marc Gasol or Lopez , Howard , Hilbert exc we get crushed,

Still say Cousins is the only guy the Celtics can afford that can tangle for 40 minutes everynight with this crowd. .

I like Varajeo but he is getting some years on him and miles.  He is a stop gap , and will likey break down in a couple more years from all the beating and banging.

cousins always get ejected... i don't know if any team can make him better.... and the new team for cousin could use him as a future center...i think they will never trade him
