Why are Pierce and KG in all of the options?

Rondo / Crawford
Bradley / Lee
Green / T-Will
Bass / Randolph / White
Sullinger / Olynyk / Melo

That's the tank-for-the-stacked-2014-draft lineup I want next season.

I wouldn't mind seeing Doc alternate between options one and three, depending on match ups.

Edit:  Make that one and six.

Any option that has Rondo.

He's our best player, and the fact that we desperately miss him is really starting to show more and more as time passes.  We're pretty much screwed without him.

I love KG/Pierce, but they're just too old to lead the team by themselves.

I can't vote for any of the options presented, though, as I hate Bass and want him shipped out of town the minute the season is over.  Besides, even if Bass is still on the team, Sully should be starting.  Green should never start at PF.

Why are Pierce and KG in all of the options?

Because that's how I made the poll.

I just can't imagine Bass has much trade value right now.

The best hope for trading him, I think, is if some team who is currently hogging cap space spends some of their money this summer on big names and then still has room for a role player like Bass to be a bench contributor for them.  I could see a team like Dallas maybe having some interest there.  Possibly Atlanta could have interest if they make use of their cap space but end up losing Josh Smith (very likely).

Well, I see you've added some options.  Cool!

Rondo-Pierce-Green-Sullinger-Garnett

That is our best lineup....hands down!

Guess someone changed the poll and as of now the leading vote is without KG and PP ;)

I went with tha majority on this one. It's tha better lineup but it really depends on matchups. But I still like Rondo and Bradley at tha 1/2. It limits guard penetration which can kill this team. And I would like to see Green and Sullinger start next season.

I like Rondo, Bradley, Pierce, Sully, KG the best.

I'd prefer to have Bradley coming off the bench because I think his best value actually comes with his ability to change the pace/tempo of the game and really put the other team on their heals with his on ball defending. But I'm not a fan of Pierce at the 2 and Lee can be frustratingly inconsistent so there aren't many other options.

People seem to be in favor of the lineup with Pierce at the 2, which I agree puts our best 5 on the floor at the same time and can create some mismatches with Pierce and Green playing, but I just don't see it. I think PP is too slow to keep up with most teams' speedy SGs and will give up some easy buckets on defense or get into foul trouble and I worry about him running himself into the ground chasing them around. The offensive advantages might outweigh the defensive issues, but I'm skeptical.

No one... I'd like Pierce to come off the bench.
