First guy to lead two schools to a national championship. Also the first guy to strip Red of the title of team president and run the Celtics into the ground. Couldn't happen to a guy I like less.

Scum bag. Can't stand him. And that's not even including the stuff he did when running the Celtics into the ground.

I laughed so hard at this comment. You congratulated him and trashed him at the same time.

Still isn't, nor will he ever be, even half the coach Krzyzewski is.

Congratulation to Louisville fans, though, I got nothing against you.  But You're coach is still a philandering Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..

Whoohoo!

Good college coach, (not great), horrible in the NBA.

Don't care for the guy at all as a human being, but it was an exciting game.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

Good college coach, (not great)

I think I'd put him into the category of "great".  He's the only coach to win titles with two schools, and the only one to take three schools to the Final Four.

When he took over Louisville, they hadn't been to the Final Four in 15 years.  During his tenure, he's taken them to the Final Four three times, and now they're national champions.

He's a slimy human being, but he knows how to coach college kids.

Can't hate on this guy at the collegiate level.  He's definitely an accomplished coach there.  The NBA is a whole other story.

Got to tip my hat to Pitino and Louisville.

Well put.  I think he's definitely at "great" level in college.  One of the best coaches of this era.
