It's being given out today. Who do you see getting it?

2006 – Paul Pierce
2007 – Al Jefferson

2010 – Rajon Rondo
2011 – Doc Rivers
2012 – Kevin Garnett

I see Jeff Green (as long as they don't repeat old guys) but who knows? Bass? Bradley?

To honor Auerbach, the Celtics created the Arnold "Red" Auerbach award in 2006. It is an award given annually to the current Celtic player or coach who "best exemplifies the spirit and meaning of what it is to be a Celtic."

I could see Green getting it. But Pierce hasn't won it since its first year, and I think he might deserve it more.

Next year they start on the new guys.

It's Green.  Has to be.  Inspirational comeback story, eye to the future.  Makes the most sense.  Maybe Pierce just because of his status and KG going down, but Green seems like the logical pick.
