  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Griifin and Jordan are babies.  They need to respect Paul.  He's the leader of the team, and all they do is catch lobs.

Just goes to show how uninformed some fans are of the Clippers. (?) Just catching lobs doesn't win you 17 games in a row.

Catching lobs doesn't win you jack in the postseason, and that's exactly why the Clippers are one of the most overrated teams in the NBA.

It doesn't. That's not the point CC was making, though...

DeAndre Jordan is a very good defender, and that's his main contribution to the Clippers overall.

I really can't stress enough how utterly UNDERRATED Blake Griffin is. People bash him way too often. He can only catch lobs? Have you watched even 1 Clipper game this season? Griffin has maybe the best handles for a big man in the NBA, runs the fast break like a point, is shooting much better from the FT line (66.3% this season), is averaging 1.3 spg (impressive for a big man/he plays passing lanes really well), and has a growing post up game (I've seen him utilize some really good moves - he is still void of a couple go-to moves, however).

And the Clippers may be called Lob City, but they are also Chris Paul City, Leading the League in Steals City, top 5 in FG% City, and top 4 in assists City. I feel like all of those attributes can become a cause for concern for their match-ups in the post season.
I like Marcus Smart

Clippers are my pawns in the West. I just need them to help me erase the Lakers (: Afterwards, they can go ahead and get kicked out after the second or third round.

They're still a 2nd-round exit anyways.

The Nuggets are the shining dogs to win it all in that conference.

I have watched plenty Clippers games (went to Clippers-Celtics on December 27 at Staples, in fact) and until they can consistently run a half-court offense, I'm a firm believer they won't do much damage this spring.

I bash him because I am biased against players who are good on offense but bad on defense.

Denver isn't knocking off a higher seed without Gallinari.

I agree...terrible time for the Nuggets to lose a vital player for the playoffs..thos is why the CHEAT are coasting and does not play their main men as the risk of injury is devastating.

I was really high on the Nuggets to make some noise this post season but if Gallo is out then i could see their chances drop.

But what the heck is going on now almost all the contenders are limping towards the playoffs save for the cHeat, NY, OKC and Denver but now Denver is beset with injury.

Doesn't really surprise me. Griffin and Paul have always struck me as being conceited and Jordan looks like he needs to mature.

That said, I'd still love CP3 on the Celts ;D

I'd rather see Deandre Jordan on the Celts than CP3, don't get me wrong, I am a fan of CP3's game, but we already have a legit all star point guard, what we've been missing in the past few years is a legit BIG man.

I'd like to see the Celtics with a REAL big man in the next couple of years. Remember when we had Shaq for a little while? We looked unstoppable, and that was an aging legitimate big man in the last couple years of his career.

I'd like to see what a DeAndre Jordan or a Greg Monroe could do with our current Roster/Style of play.

DJ has actually improved his offensive game since last year. and its clear to see that. He could actually be one of the good C's in this league if he continues to do so. Shoot 150 free throws a day to improve. get to 65-70% and they wont foul him nearly as much

No wonder CP3 coveted KG so much, lol

KG, Pierce, CP3, Blake and whoever else is Championship material....but BOS has plans this postseason, too....

San Antonio Spurs with a hobbling Manu Ginobili heading in the playoffs as well.

Golden State Warriors are too inexperienced; they'll get bounced by Denver in round 1. Houston could make it far in the playoffs with James Harden exploding this season, so I kinda like their chances. But I wonder how will they respond back against OKC Thunder? As for the Lakers, well, Kobe is determined as always. But pretty doubtful without World Peace and Jordan Hill. Plus they have the oldest (starting) PG in the Western Conference up against young and athletic ones.

  Griffin's kind of a thug.

Agree. Blake Griffin is very underrated. He can do so much more than just "dunking"

A few people here and there go in on him, but Blake Griffin is not underrated at large.  That's crazy talk.

The main reason I've grown to dislike him is he handles himself like a punk on the court, staring people down, how he puts his arm out all the time for offensive fouls, etc.

I wonder how the Clippers management feels about not doing a Jordan and Bledsoe for KG trade, even it they had to send out a 1st rd pick to cement the deal. Surely KG would've brought leadership and a strong voice to keep Griffin in line.
