Just like any other team in the league, the Clips are starting to come undone, but it couldn't come at a worst time

From LA Times http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-simers-clippers-20130404%2C0%2C7748206.column:

Blake and DeAndre are fighting:

Quote
He wants the ball like any great player, but when it doesn't go to him, he pouts. He's 24. Most of the time the ball goes to Griffin, but he's concerned only about the times when it doesn't.

The other night in Sacramento, Griffin and Jordan exchanged words on the bench. Griffin told Jordan he best never again stare him down as he did when Griffin failed to give Jordan a good pass for a dunk.

They're getting tired of Chris Paul's voice:
Quote
The pair have also grown tired of Chris Paul's voice, which is understandable at times.

Paul, very much like Kobe Bryant — who has turned off Dwight Howard with his out-of-this-world standards — is relentless. He never shuts up. And Jordan and Griffin have become weary of him.

When asked about being annoying, Paul smiled and said, "I need to work on being a better leader."

-These sort of things happen all the time on teams and we (some) always criticize Rondo and others, but it's just good to get a look at other teams and the things they go through.

I'm guessing this could be propaganda, because Griffin and Jordan are pretty tight both on- and off-the-court. CP3 being talkative is fine; he's the PG and supposed leader of the Clippers. They'll get their act together, right? (maybe not this year... will CP3 even return next year? *gasp*)

At some point, you gotta wonder: what's the coach doing? Yes, I'm looking at you, Vinny del Negro. We blame Doc, but he's better than a lot of irresponsible coaches too....

I'm interested in your source of Jordan and Griffin being close on and off the court

Social medias. Bunch of YouTube videos, Instagram pictures, tweets of them just hanging out. Don't think two guys who dislikes each other would be hanging out off the court.

There was an attempted mutiny against Vinny Del Negro last season.  Kenyon Martin's problems getting signed were probably due in part to being the reported leader of the failed locker room coup.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Griifin and Jordan are babies.  They need to respect Paul.  He's the leader of the team, and all they do is catch lobs.

Fair enough. Seems like there is trouble given their current level of play.

I'm reading a lot of that.

I think they'll get to the 2nd round comfortably, but I think WCF is going to be OKC and Spurs.

Just goes to show how uninformed some fans are of the Clippers. (?) Just catching lobs doesn't win you 17 games in a row.

Catching lobs doesn't win you jack in the postseason, and that's exactly why the Clippers are one of the most overrated teams in the NBA.

It will be interesting to see if Jordan stays or goes? Next season there will some big time expiring contracts and the Clippers showed no hesitation to deal him for Garnett.

Im also interested to see how long this Westbrook/ Durant Duo will last. If they don't win it all this year does Westbrook get pushed out?

Doesn't really surprise me. Griffin and Paul have always struck me as being conceited and Jordan looks like he needs to mature.

That said, I'd still love CP3 on the Celts ;D

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
One time me and my buddy disagreed, and punches were thrown. We got over it, and joke about it now.

Cuz that's what guys do. Blake and Deandre will be fine.
