We've seen a decent sample size from Shavlik. We know Chris Wilcox. Who do you trust more to give productive playoff minutes?

Better bring in Fab Mello and get him some minutes ,  the lack of size is killing this team.

More taller guys , less poor shooting guards.

And add a Coach with a brain

It's amazing just how much more we have all come to appreciate Bass...hopefully Shav and Wilcox will only get spot minutes in the playoffs. Green will probably be playing quite a lot of pf.

Shav
Fights for rebounds, sets good screens, and has higher basketball IQ. The backdoor play that Monroe made on Wilcox at the end of the game was downright pitiful.

I'd love to see both guys get minutes.

I love Wilcox's energy and athleticism, as well as his great hands (he catches almost anything thrown near him) and his ability to finish tough shots around the basket.

I've actually really liked what I've seen from Shavlik also.  He might not put up fancy numbers often, but he seems to make a lot of those little plays that don't show up on the score board - tip outs on rebounds, deflections, good screens, bodies up hard on offensive assignments, scrambles for the ball, etc.  He's a real effort guy and he seems to be capapble of scoring around the basket when need be too.

Both are guys who I think bring more to the team than their numbers show, but Wilcox is probably more effective when Rondo is there to throw him those well placed lobs :)

shavlik does not want to go back to china, he wants a ring as we can see, also crawford doing his thing, i think t-will is doing fine, i know white wants to play but doc don't let him play, these guys are lucky to be in a contending team, and the attitude? man...these guys wants a ring than bass and wilcox and terry as you all can see, but as many said maybe bass terry wilcox at there best come playoffs

Shavik please.  Wilcox's play has really come down after playing fairly well after being given a second chance in the rotation around the trading deadline.  He makes so many defensive errors losing track of his man and when he's faced to faced with his man, he seems to lack initial concentration and intensity because his man gets the jump on his time after time, causing him to pick up fouls.  Wilcox looks like he's going at half-speed a lot of the time.  This isn't surprising.  His low basketball IQ and lack of intensity is why he's been a disappointment relative to his physical tools.

Shavlik will at least play hard and try to take charges.  In the charge taking department, Bass has to be the softest big man in the league.  He never tries to step in.  He's in position to put his body in the way and he just doesn't do it.  It's one of the reasons why he's so horrible on defense.

Both but shav has impressed me being a late addition to system.  I'm hoping he is on board next year .  Mind you both guys are third or fourth bigs

Wilcox has been very disappointing lately.  His defense and rebounding are just awful.

I feel bad for Wilcox he has been so so bad. I kind of give him the benefit of the doubt with heart surgery but yeah he has been real bad.

Its sad that he can barely catch the ball or finish an alley oop (his only offensive game) because it seems like that thumb inuury is still affecting him. If its not than I don't know why the ball slips off his hands so much

My guess is that Doc ends up going with short minutes for both guys in a nine man rotation come playoff time.

I actually prefer Shav at this point, but I would feel kind of bad for Weezy if he missed out on his first ever chance to get some playoff minutes after playing in more than 600 regular season games over the course of his career.

I was a huge Wilcox fan, but he has been an energy big who hasn't provided much energy. Randolph supplies the rebounding and post defense that the team needs. Free Shav!
