Isn't Jeff almost like a poor man's Kevin Durant? That step-back three yesterday reminded me a lot of KD.

Jeff Green - Top 5 SF

[Kevin Garnett]
"I've always said J. Green is going to be one of the best players to ever play this game"

He reminds me of a poor man's Scottie Pippen. The way he hangs in the air around the rim, the shot blocking, the way he can handle it.

Maybe a broke man's KD.  And I'm a big supporter of Green and I love the numbers he's put up lately.

But seriously?  This whole Green = KD thing is absolutely ridiculous, and it needs to stop now.

Reminds me more of Wilson Chandler.

For the most part no. Durant has more offensive tools , especially dribble and mid range game.  Clutch shooting is proven and can single handed takeover the game, as he has shown already.

Jeff Greens shot is coming along but not nearly as good. Also either he shoots threes or drives for a layup and i wish he would incorporate a stop and pop, which would then help his game compare to more like Durants. One thing Jeff is better is defending though Durant is pretty underrated defender himself.

For now, Durant is a superstar, clutch and constantly demands a double team. Jeff Green is like a swiss army knife and does alot of things well to help out a team. I think he is a stop and  pop away from just being one of the top sf's in the league

A poor man's James Worthy?  I can see a little of that the way he glides to the hoop sometimes.

Jeffs limit in the future depends on his drive to  achieve.

At times he seems makes the average opponents look like 8th graders. at will.  He is like a Ferrari coasting along at 100mph passing most people, but he has 200 mph waiting at all times.

A more assertive role as he see's himself , where he expects to win and won't accept defeat.

Add some tuff rebounders(Sully for one) to help  him and an ENFORCER (CENTER) to help him inside would be sweet.

That is the only resemblance, the gliding. But outside of that no. Worthy was for the most part an interior player. Green is a hybrid but mostly a perimeter guy. Much better handles and vision than worthy, but worthy a better rebounder and inside player

Yeah I guess that is the only resemblance.  Green isn't on the interior nearly as much.

His play of late is starting to take notice around the league, too.

Mitch Richmond and Rick Fox were giving him mad props on NBATV...

I really think/hope this guy has a future in BOS...if he keeps THIS up, BOS can make some serious noise this post-season.

Just remember: He has SIXTY points total vs MIA in the last two games....I LOVE IT!

Just do your thing, Super 8!

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
They aren't very similar at all.

Not sure what you're seeing.

As if the top 5 SF in 2 years thread wasn't enough, you have to go this far? You're just trolling at this point.
