That was awesome!  I didn't remember that, I guess because I didn't follow the Suns.

Why is LeBron even addressing DA's statement?

Well I guess when Ainge said it's almost embarrassing to complain about officiating, it must have ruffled his feathers a bit and he just wanted to fire back.

does anyone have a link to what DA actually said?  I must have missed it...

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

  • You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.
I feel like everyone is reading in to this the incorrectly. I took Danny's comment in regard to Lebron's supper preferential treatment.

I've always felt that player's cannot play defense against Lebron because if you breathe on him you get called for a foul.

On the other hand, Lebron's average fouls per game per minutes played is ridiculously low. Add to that any time he does actually get called for a foul he looks incredulous.

I'm not saying that nobody else gets preferential treatment, Lebron's treatment just seems to take it to a different universe.

I still find it funny that Lebron is crying about how a guy that he has 50pounds on mind you...didnt just let Lebron barrel into him shoulder first for an easty layup + 1

and to protect HIMSELF wrapped up lebron.

the heat are a dirty and physical team..but it seems they cant take the physicality back

;D Danny sums it up his hypocrisy pretty perfectly in this interview.

TPs for the videos and the Laimbeer and Oakley suggestions... Danny is (I can't find the words to praise him without breaking the rules) great, and LeTravel is like Jordan in that second video. He really thinks he deserves the star treatment, and like Jordan, can't understand why can be some team/player who doesn't bow down. I remember watching the Finals that year and rooting for Danny to start a fight with Jordan to get both of them suspended  ;D

This Boston/Miami thing is good for ratings, don't forget what SterNBA is about, and of course the Heatles will be focused against us, making an upset in the playoffs even harder. LeTravel can go off again, and this can be used as bulletin material, but Danny is doing what every GM in the league should be doing, and it's countering the BSPN/Heat campaign to get even more calls. Even Don Patricio Riley has opened his mouth to call Danny out. Well done Danny!

If only we could have Darko to make them hit the deck...

I don't get the people talking about it could make Lebron go off on us (like KG when he was mentioned)... Lebroid did go off on us when NO ONE said anything to him in the playoffs last season, he had 45... we were still in that game most of the way!! LeBroid can and will get his, stop the rest!!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I like this post because it brings some perspective to things. Can you imagine what would happen if a Rondo inbounds bonked a player on the head? The national media would talk about how immature he is, so too Celticsblog. These things happen. Wish we could live with it.

Very glad that both Doc and Ainge were players and were involved in a number of skirmishes. It gives them perspective. Hopefully.
