His act  with the officials has always been an embarassment, and this was the first in 28 games everything didn't go his way...the refs did end the streak, normally they'd make sure Lebron wins and gets everything his way.

The refs ended the streak?

Here I was thinking Boozer and the Bulls did that.

I guess you don't get what I'm saying. Yes the bulls did...but if the refs called the game like they normally do for Lebron/heat....heat win, period...which is why I agree with Danny it's embarrassing Lebron has the balls to complain...it's laughable

No, I didn't get what you are saying.

I think I do now, and I wholeheartedly agree.

No sirs, I watched most of the game, the refs definitely tried at times to get the cHeat into it but the Bulls played so well that even the refs couldn't do enough without it being BEYOND their usual.

If Nate's floater at the end was to put them up only 2, where was the tech on Lebroid (for hanging on the rim for a LONG time)? Luckily it was to go up 5 b/c the refs weren't calling it!

To those saying it wasn't a flagrant when Broid put his elbow out (high elbow too but Boozer isn't short)... I don't think you know the rules! Even if it wasn't "bad" or hard, you can't do it, plain and simple. Also, it was MUCH harder/forceful than it appears b/c you have to remember it's Boozer, he isn't weak and is strong/sturdy enough to absorb Broid (who is a tank)... so just b/c it didn't look that bad, the flagrant is also for intent! James intended to deliver a shiver to Booze but Boozer took it and said something to let broid know that he wasn't soft like the usual people he runs through!

Also, to the people saying you got to be physical with them to beat them, I have been saying it since Shaq (of course I can't/don't want to find the threads but I said it many times, even in chat)... they didn't know how to handle going through Shaq, he would dang near blow their world up when they drove through! I love teams that don't let them just run through them or don't just get out their way. I thought Indiana was going to do it last season but after Wadena flung his body into ol' dude (can't think of his name right now), the series was over, it seemed like Indiana couldn't get over the fact that the refs jobbed them... they softened b/c they were young and couldn't deal with not getting the calls everyone KNEW they deserved! This is another reason why I wanted Darko to play, all Doc had to say was foul them HARD and he would have gladly done it... Mia can't handle physical play AGAINST them, they are bullies but Chicago is no victim, they have just the mix of guys who like to rough it up!

Dirk was amazing on offense and so was Jet... but they beat Mia b/c they were more physical! OKC can't beat Mia b.c while Perk is a hard hitter no BSer, the entire team besides him are more finesse. Even Ibaka, while an excellent shot blocker, he isn't out there laying wood on anyone on the regular!

We are pretty physical too but as KG and PP have aged, they are more finesse, we just don't have tree shakers anymore... not to say we can't/won't beat them (because we have a good mix of veteran savy and grit), I just know we'd be better served having a couple of club/knuckle dragging guys who's sole purpose was to bang and foul!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Just goes to show how soft the Celtics have become. Rondo is  the only  guy on the team willing to get tough with the competition. If we had even a couple of role players who were willing to play as tough as Hinrich and Gibson, we'd be legitimate contenders in the EC in spite of our lack of an inside presence. Lets see Lee wrap up BronBron and take him to ground or KG hack him hard across the arms driving into the paint. Not going to happen.

He's complaining about some of the liberties players are taking with him. He's getting the  "big guy treatment" that Tommy talks about, just because he's big and strong doesn't mean that flagrant fouls aren't flagrant anymore. I gotta agree with the big guy here.

Also... the idea that Lebron isn't graceful or fun to watch is such a joke.

take them off for a second.

Speak for yourself, personally, I don't like watching traveling all the time or an arrogant jerk.  He is capable of remarkable athletic feats but he isn't a Celtic so I don't watch him.

His approach is force, not style.  He plays the game like a FB/TE (or a rougue rhino) and BULLS INTO (smaller) PEOPLE.  If I wanted to watch football, Id dial in the NFL.  Maybe he should play for the Browns. Find out what its like to take a hit.   Plus as has been noted, he feels entitled to do this with impunity.

Maybe his style  fit in with the post 9/11 zeitgesit.

James has as much "HELP" from refs as anybody has ever had in the NBA.  At least as much as MJ....probably more.

James has become accustomed to having everything go his way .  So when he complains it seems so selfish and baby like.

If James was treated the SAME way as the majority of players , the HEAT wouldn't have near the record they have now .

From what I 've seen  James would foul out of many games .

Letting the top 10 players run wild play within their own set of rules belittles the league , frustrates the sport , and does nothing to legitimize the NBA as a fair league.

Wade and James both play like bulls .   Nothing fineness about their games.....fouls should be called equally ....if they foul out in 2 quarters ..so be it.

James is built more like a football linebacker than a basketball player.

If anything he should be held to a higher std to keep the rest of the players in check , instead he is allowed special treatment and this sets up an unfair unwritten load of horse dung calls by refs to slant games, to keep James on the court ( all in the name of TV contracts)

He is a complete farce of a player with star calls to subsidize his play.   David Stern NBA where refs matter.  We know who they bet on.

In LeBron's defense, I will say that he does get hit hard more than most people will realize or admit.  When we played the Heat, fouls could have been called on the last few plays, LeBron is just so strong that he absorbs contact and finishes well regardless.

And that's where I fall on the other side.  Dude, you are so strong, so physical.  You are a freak athletically.  You managed to win 27 straight games due to this and your talent and overall play.  Do you really have much to complain about?  That shouldn't be your big thing after the game.  Yes, a few of the fouls were over the top, but I don't think you have that much to complain about.

TP.  Or that LeBron isn't managing to win all these games because he's playing at just about the highest possible level and is one of the greatest players ever.

Most of these posts are embarrassing.  It would be just hilarious if somehow LeBron came here when he's a free agent to see all this crap I'm reading flip the other way.

Every NBA player gets hit hard every game. Most don't say anything about it, and of course it's LeBron who has to talk to the media about it. "soft"

I have never agreed with you more than right now.

Not sure I've ever agreed with you before, actually, but I nonetheless emphatically agree with you now.

Im so glad someone in an NBA front office has called him out. I read his comments and saw the videos of the Chicago fouls and I just couldn't believe he was complaining. When your game is built on brute force and hard drives to the basket you are of course going to get fouled. Sometimes hard. Its part of the game. If you dont like it, dont play that way.

To see the Queen of the league, who is already babied by the refs to make his game easier, call them out to suggest that the fouls should be called to make the game even easier on him is just straight up ludacriscy. And yes I just made up a word for it.

Agree here. I dont think James is fun to watch at all. He has much more force than basketball talent. He is playing football/rugby out there. If I wanted to watch football or Rugby I would do so.
