I agree. And I think tha majority on this board would agree as well. Lebron should be tha last person to complain about officiating. It's no secret that he's protected by tha refs. He gets away with pretty much everything on tha court. He even played 254 minutes without being called for a foul.Who does that? Glad tha streak is over though.

Also Danny Ainge gave a small update on KG today on tha Salk & Holley show. He said KG's foot injury is getting better, tha swelling is going down. But he has other nicks and bruises. He mentioned a Calf Muscle, but said that resting KG is what's best for him and tha team. They want him fresh.

With tha playoffs lurking around tha corner, I agree. A healthy, fresh KG is a dangerous one.

I agree it's very embarrassing. LeBron might be the most physical player in the league and he plays with arguably the most physical game. Hes gotten the least amount of foul calls, called on him for a superstar in the NBA. It's very embarrassing to complain about fouls if you're Lebron James.

If you watch the clip of Lebron-Hinrich, LBJ does not try to go around or go by.  He lowers the shoulder and goes through.  And the shoudler to Booze was clearly flagrant. His approach to basketball reminds not of the Sainted Jordan, but of Mike Ditka and Jim Brown (FB, CLE).  His game lacks style and grace. Its sheer brute force and imho not a pleasure to watch.

Queen James is a spoiled brat.  He walks almost every drive and bullies at will other players with his physical play.   If they really called games fairly I think he would foul out routinely.

What a joke for him to complain about the refs.  I am ashamed to be from Ohio the same state as him.

I've seen James destory the opposing player and ghost fouls get called in his favor. All this means is that he is about to get away with way more folks.

Anyone complaining of fouls and cheap fouls on the same team as Wade should be suspended indefinitely.

Ridiculous that he should complain. He's a great athlete, no doubt, but a large part of how he makes his living is barreling into the paint like a bull in a china shop, usually getting the basket and/or the foul—rarely does he get neither.

There's little hope of successfully defending against him if the league continues to direct officials to call ticky-tack fouls in his favor, but besides that, LeBron ought to know that a fundamental strategy of basketball is to deter penetration with physical interior play—nothing dirty, just good hard fouls and lots of bodying guys up.

Put on your big-boy pants, bro.

i actually tend to like lebron off the court, but the whole reffing situation is crazzzzyyy..i watched the last bits of the game last night and it was NUTS! wow

and to see him act like that...i didn't like it. i mean...i understand wanting to get back (and no I didn't think the boozer thing was flagrant), but i mean he just...idk..
where i'm from, you act like that when you're mad and there's nothing you can do to get back lol

The insanity of Lebron complaining about officiating is just whack.

In this same game, Lebron (as per usual) only got called for 1 foul.  And it took a very visibile, very blatant and very flagrant foul for him to get called for that one single foul.

Of course, if you look at the vids of

a) Dengs dunk over Lebron while Lebron is holding his arm (the "Deng over James" video)

b) Boozer's put back of Nate's miss, with Lebron clearly fouling him (2:40 in the "Heat vs Bulls" video)

at the NBA's own page for the game:

http://www.nba.com/games/20130327/MIACHI/gameinfo.html?ls=iref:nbahpgt[0021201062]#

Then it's pretty clear that James should have had at least THREE fouls, not one.

It's not as if those were subtle and easy to miss.   They just weren't called.

So maybe Lebron is right:  The refs sucked.

NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

Imagine if they called James the same way they called Sullinger.

Every NBA player gets hit hard every game. Most don't say anything about it, and of course it's LeBron who has to talk to the media about it. "soft"

Very surprised no one has yet stuck up for Queen James here. YET. Wait for it, it's coming.

I heard so many comments when he was in that no foul streak about how his uberman athleticism and incredible feel and knowledge of the game and his amazing anticipation makes it so he REALLY doesn't foul that often.

I call BIG BS on that horse crap.

Read the "Chicago up on Miami " thread. LeBroid apologists are everywhere. Get up off your knees and wipe your chins.

Embarrassing.

Got a link to a direct quote?  That's pretty funny, and I'm sure a lot of people around the league are nodding furiously.

LeBron did get hit pretty hard a couple of times, and anyone's probably going to be ticked about that, especially in a loss.  But he delivered plenty of shots himself, and gets a lot of protection from the refs in general.

Reminds me of Kobe saying his buzzer foul on Rubio "wasn't a foul" when he'd be screaming to high hell if the same thing happened to him.  Everybody's got a double standard with that sort of stuff.
