Time for me to learn to spell first name.

Could multiyear mean 'team option for next year'?

there is no point of signing a guy who just sits on bench, if celtics are in big man problem as playoffs come..
maybe a filler for a trade next year, ainge has something on his mind

Just because his use is limited right now doesn't mean that they won't be able to find a role for him.

Especially with Wilcox having 6 minutes of nothing last night (and KG & PP taking games off now and then).

And there obviously is a point in signing guys that just sit on the bench. A roster can have 15 players and 12 can suit up every game. Some aren't going to have a role in many games, even though they are needed for depth.

To be in camp next year.  To get another look at him at the beginning of the season.

If he earns a spot, great.  If not, nothing lost.

People who report these stories need to come up with a term other than "multi-year contract." (I mean the reporters themselves, not the people posting here on CB).

Something like "training camp option contract." Because that's what it is.

retarded if you ask me. Danny just got lazy . At least Shavlik is a good cheerleader

When i saw Amundsen play yesterday, its really unfortunate we couldn't snag him. The guy would of been perfect for us. Lots of energy in his game and speed is quite good for a big man

Time for me to learn to spell first name.

Could multiyear mean 'team option for next year'?
reduce it to Shav, maybe he'll end up like shaq
i actually think he could be a good 3rd/4th big and i'm sure he's priced accordingly

a third center i think he has promise (probably more than melo), can't hurt, he seems to work on the boards and have a good bb iq
