Now that Miami has escaped Boston, do you want the Heat to catch the Lakers?

Obviously last night sucked, but now that Miami has escaped Boston with a win do you want them to keep winning and catch the 71-72 Lakers streak of 33 games?  Miami's schedule is very weak and they actually could do it.  They only have 4 playoff teams before playing Boston near the end of the season so they easily could get to 35 just prior to the next Boston game, but would you want them to?

I just want Doc to pull a Popovich in their next regular season visit to Miami. Rest the Old 3 and give extended minutes to the Chinese 3. Don't waste your time with those bums and the refs, save your energy for the playoffs.

1. I listen to the radio at work and I'd rather not hear about the win streak for another long period of time.

2. While I despise the Lakers more overall, that particular Lakers team accomplished its streak before I was born. So I don't have an emotional investment in disliking them like I do the Heat and the current Lakers squad.

Lebron James has to be one of the most annoying/hated players in my books. More than Wade.

The guy lost it yesterday and started to freak out at the refs , at teammates and after every single call make this ridiculous panic reaction. At least Kobe just shakes his head most of the time and walks away

James is a spoiled child and i know traumatized from earlier days losing to the celts. If the celts don't make it past them this year, i will root for whoever else they meet, even if that means rooting for the lakers.

No.  Normally I like rooting against all things that are Lakers-related, but in today's era of hype, it would be unbearable.

Miami breaks the record.  Boston falls to the 8th seed and knocks out Miami in the first round.

Is it just me, or would Miami hate seeing us in the first round?

Switching gears for a second, but if the Heat win every single game for the rest of the regular season, for a 39 game win streak, they still would only be tied for 5th in all time regular season wins.

Behind the '96 Bulls, '72 Lakers, '97 Bulls, '67 Sixers (by winning %), and tied with the '73 Celtics.

At least that's reassuring that they won't go down with the greatest regular season record ever.  But to me it's just crazy to think about, as good as the Heat are, and even if they win 39 straight games, the  best they can do is 68 wins.  Helps make you appreciate how good those other teams were, and how hard of a feat it is to win so many games.

Miami would hate seeing us in any round.  I think the celtics, pacers, and bulls (with rose) in that order are the only 3 teams that Miami wouldn't mind avoiding in the playoffs if possible.
