this team was without arguably their most important player defensively in Garnett and couldve pulled off this win....

this team can hang with miami...

the downgrade from KG to Bass/Wilcox is a significant one.

also, Miami has NO answer for Jeff Green....now I dont expect him to get 45pts every game..but if THIS is playoff jeff green agression he'll put up 20ppg

its just a shame that Rondo is gone for the season...because Miami has no answer for Rondo/Green

Given that KG was out, Doc HAS to do better with lineups. Instead of waiting until Lebron is back on the floor, put Green on the bench at the same time as Lebron. Both stretches against Lebron with no Green KILLED us. Plus the lineups with Crawford at the 3 and Pierce at the 4 were brutal, but I'll just chalk that up as due to the KG injury.

Overall, I was very happy with the performance tonight (minus the final Pierce shot). Defense would be much better with KG, and the aggressiveness on offense was awesome.

ya, it frustrated me when Miami went on their run and Doc didnt call a time out to get Green back in.

also, as Green continues to play the way he has, Ainge's perkins trade/36million$ deal look better by the day..

the downgrade from KG to Bass/Wilcox is a significant one.

This is what probably worries me the most about the team. Those two have their niche but both can be a liability on defense.

Sully + KG+RONDO ...would have been more than enough to handle the HEAT , NOW that we team has finally jelled......not at the beginning of the season the Celtics were LOST.  Green and AB and Wilcox not right,  Rest of new bees , weren't ready .

But now a fully healthy C's is capable of beating the heat

Yup, like I said in another thread, I was really happy with the way the Celts played tonight.

The only thing that really bothered me was that silly shot Pierce tried taking at the end of the game.

Celts need to do a better job of calling late-game plays.

But that said, nothing to be ashamed of with this game

I'm most upset about having to see and hear about Terry getting posterized on ESPN for the next 20 millions years

I honestly can't believe there's Doc hate on here tonight.  I thought he worked that short handed lineup to near perfection against the Heat in this game.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

All this game stated to me was that once KG comes back, MIA-BOS is a series.

With KG back there protecting the rim, we can do this.

MIA wins tonight...they have a good shot at going ahead and breaking LA's record.

But tonight's game will give them something to think about.

We can beat MIA in a series.

I truely believe we can.  I love our performance tonight, we were just missing our defensive glue

All I know is that Boston WANTS Miami in the playoffs but the heat want no part of the Celtics.  The Celtics know this is their last chance, legitimate or not.  They would love nothing more than to take Miami out first.

Unfortunately the buckets that put Miami up late were defensive lapses.  KG would minimize those

We'll see, I say there's two ways to look at this. One, we played them tough and very easily could have won the game without KG. Another way is, green had the best game of his career and avery bradley was the only player on our team having a off shooting night at home and we still lost.
