Mallet had the best play of the night by any Patriots player. On the Blount redirection long run for the TD, as a player came around Mallet did the "fake flinch toward a person as if to punch them only to scare them but never meaning to hit them" type of block that faked out a guy and broke open the run for Blount.   ;) :D ;D

I literally rewound that and rewatched it 5 times laughing and joking with my son over that play.

It was almost as good as the fakeout Brady put on Urlacher a few years ago for a TD run. Almost. Not sure that move will ever be beat by a slow footed QB ever again.

Looks to me like Amendola is the new Wes Welker and Wes is the new receiver that loses with Peyton Manning to the Pats in the playoffs....Reggie Wayne.

Hope the Pats didn't hurt Doug Martin too bad. I have big plans for him in FF this year.

Ok ok. Just remember later on when comparing Tebow and Mallet stats that the TD to Sudfeld had noooothhhhing to do with Mallet. That's an incompletion in my book

You know that Tebow probably isn't even going to make the team, right?

I'll reserve judgement till later. He outplayed Mallet last week despite the notable disadvantage of having 2 weeks in the system as opposed to 2 years, but this week Mallet looks pretty good.

OMG....Randy Moss and Brian Urlacher are Fox football analysts.  Don't you have to be able to write your own name (in English) to be a football analyst?  Maybe not.

That's pretty funny. Tebow outplayed the guy that played about 5 plays before getting hurt and then Tebow played nearly 3 quarters.

Yeah, I guess he outplayed Mallet last week.

5 plays? He had 18 attempts.  Tebow had 12. If Tebow gets hit by a defender the defender gets a headache. Mallet gets a headache and he leaves the game as a precaution. That's not Tebow's fault or problem.

Yeah but Mallet was pulled as a precaution because he is important to the team. He's the backup QB.

Tebow, well, he's there to field questions so Brady and the rest of the team doesn't have to and can concentrate on their job this preseason. ;) :D ;D

I know. I know. He's there to field all the questions and STILL outplays Mallet.  He's THAT good.   I mean they don't keep Brady out a few days after a knee injury, but it's vvveerrryy important to keep out Mallet...oh my God Tebow just threw the worst pass in the history of the NFL. oh. Oh man.  It's like losing faith in Paterno all over again.

Tim...you have a better chance of completing a pass if you throw the football within 10 yards of one of your players.

Maybe they didn't teach him that at Florida.

At this point Tebow has to consider throwing the ball to where he thinks the receiver isn't.  I mean.....that was....did you see it?  Did you see that?  It was like Bob Stanley's wild pitch
