Couple of days into NFL free agency and there's already been a flurry of moves.  Thoughts?

I'm not sure which contract I hate more;  the one the Dolphins gave Mike Wallace or the one that the Seahawks gave Percy Harvin.

Leaning towards the Harvin contract.  That has serious potential to blow up in the Seahawks face not too mention what they gave up to get him.

Think the 49ers getting Boldin for a 6th rounder was a steal.

Chiefs are throwing an awful lot of money at Anthony Fasano

Notice the clubs making the big splashes so far have been more to the side of the dregs on the NFL; Dolphins, Chiefs, Browns.  Quiet so far from much of the top eschelon teams outside the Niners/Ravens transaction. I don't think that's a coincidence, either.

And 49'ers getting Boldin for a 6th round pick may be one of the worst trades ever..major steal for SF

I dont know what I want from the pats realistically.

What I really want is for Hernandez and Gronk to be healthy for a season

Ravens cut Bernard Pollard.

Pats should take him on just so he can't kill anyone else on their team.

Well, I guess he could still take people out in practice.  :P

I'll tell you what has me burning right now, Martellus Bennett signing with Chicago.

Could the Giants just keep one of their FA TE's just once?  It seems they just don't seem to place much value on the position.

I guess they must figure they can just stick any competent player in there and get results.  It has seemed to work for them somewhat.

Given that they were going to cut him, and he threatened to retire if traded, it's amazing they got anything for him at all.

His contract has nothing to do with it as Flacco's cap number next year is exactly what it was last year.  Baltimore never overpays players and they always lose big time players in free agency.  It is their way.  The only guy they didn't want to lose was Ellerbe and Miami seriously overpaid him, as did the Browns with Kruger.  Canty was a pretty solid addition on a very nice contract for them.  Clearly they need some LB's and secondary help as well as a couple of guys on the OL, but by and large Baltimore will still be one of the better teams in the AFC and will still easily be the favorite to win the AFC North.

Reggie Bush to the Lions.

Not sure how I feel about that.  That team could clearly use the help with the running game.  Just not sure that Bush, at this point, is the right guy to be an every down back.

As a closeted Lions fan, I'm a bit excited about the addition.

Rams fan here love that we picked up Cook. Looking to lock up Jake Long tonight. Love what Jeff Fisher and Les Snead are doing with the Rams.

it was a lot of money for Cook though.  Seems like overpaying to me.  Getting Long would be huge though (and of course costly).

Because they keep replacing the TE without any issues.

Why spend a lot for what you want to be the 4th receiving option?   (you know they want Randle to b the 3rd option this season)

#Patriots have offered WR Wes Welker a 4-year, $32 million deal while the #Broncos are offering Welker a 4-year, $35 million deal.

The Pats should just match and get it over with.
