No matter what, next year we need scoring.

Just one player who could fill it up a bit. I am not talking about getting some pie in the sky player. Simply someone who can create some offense on their own without being out of control. Crawford and Terry simply do not cut it sadly. Our defense is glorious but there are clearly times that we really struggle to score.
Green is not assertive enough consistently, Pierce and KG are getting older and will not be around forever, Bradley seems like he might have it in him but not yet, Rondo is great but can't or won't. I am not sure which but the point is he doesn't.
I would love to take a shot at Tyreke Evans. I know he has some warts but as I mentioned, I think our chances of getting a top shelf scorer is slim at best. Evans would make a fine SG/PG type player who could revive his career here and get a chance to win a little.

I would look at Allen Crabbe in the draft. He can flat out score. Not a great athlete but such a great shooting touch. I would love C.J. McCollum but I do not think he will be there when we pick. I figure we will be picking between 18 and 21 or so. He most likely will be gone by then.

we need someone who will be agressive 100% of the time and be an insider presence.
let Lee, Jeff, JET, Crawford, even AB do some scoring.

We need scoring and BIG, presence in the paint and defensive strength in transition, as well as the speed we've been developing this year. It depends on what KG and Paul do, clearly, but lack of size is killing us right now, and where we just don't match up well.

What would really be nice is a guy who can give 15-12 in the paint for us.  I'm tired of seeing mediocre centers go completely berserk against us and have 20 rebound games.  Recently the past two months we've been WAY better than last year where we completely fell apart whenever KG went out, but there is still way too much of a burden on him at his age and we don't even know if he'll be back next year.

Well, there's a big difference between a guy that CAN score, or CAN shoot, and a SCORER!  PP is a scorer!(JET is too, he's just not performed like it much this season) Unfortunately he's our only one! We need to either draft or trade for at least two more, regardless of position-though a scoring big would be great! ??Al Jeff!

Crawford can ONLY score. In a lesser respect, Green and Bradley too.

I am excited for this years playoffs but have also been think alot about next season. I agree to a point with you that we need a guy who can get his own shot. This is one reason why the rumored Ray for Mayo trade last year hurts so much.

This comes with alot of assumptions but lets say the following happens.

1. PP is brought back
2. RR is at least 90% for start of season
3. Sully is at least 90% for start of season

This actually leaves us with a depth PROBLEM. Doc struggled with to much depth earlier this season and next year could be ever worse. With Rondo, AB, Lee, Terry, and crawford all under contract someone is not going to be happy with their minutes. With KG, Sully, and Bass we will again be stuck with the less than perfect Sully and Bass pairing (with KG likely playing less minutes then this year). At SF Green should surpass PP for total minutes while also getting time at PF.

PG Rondo  35min, AB 13min
SG Avery  17min, Lee 20, Terry 11
SF Pierce 28min, Green 15min, Lee 5min
PF Sully  15min, Bass  18min, Green 15min
C  KG     28min, Sully 15min, Melo 5min

This leaves Crawford as the odd man out and Terry not very happy.

The best solution to what this team is going to need would be to trade a combination of Terry, Bass, Melo and possible this years pick for a big man (easier said then done). Ideally a big who is under 27 and has the length to disrupt shots when KG is on the bench.

post scoring would be nice.  Trade rondo for Pau or Big Al.  Then in games against OKC when you have Bradley locking down Westbrook and Pierce/Green expending all their energy defending Durant, you can just keep dumping the ball down low and letting Pau/Big Al put up consistent buckets.

I think everyone here can agree our two major problems that needed to be addressed in the offseason were rebounding and scoring.  Well, Sully helped tremendously on the boards, and Jet, Barbosa, and Green were brought in to provide bench scoring.....except they haven't, according to the OP.  Heck, we even traded for a 'scorer' in Crawford, and that still isn't enough?

I'm not sure what else is out there, because unless we absolutely tank the rest of the season, there isn't anyone in the draft who is going to be a consistent scorer for us.

The only way to attain a player like that is through trade, and even then I don't know who we could get.

with mayo and pierce outside a dmc inside, we should be a pretty good scoring team and a starting line-up of rondo-mayo-pierce-sullinger-cousins doesnt sound too bad
